Certainly. Even if a nun has great faith and devotion, keep a distance. For men, avoid both intimacy to the point of animosity. If it becomes too intimate, it is better to avoid it with skillful means. After that, even if a noisy crowd of beings to be tamed gathers, do not be attached or cling, but incline towards the Dharma. Be humble and cautious, and abandon pride and arrogance. By doing so, you will not obscure the supreme, and there will be no faults. Longevity, merit, wealth, enjoyment, retinue and beings to be tamed, fame, enjoyment, and so on, just as crops come naturally in a good harvest, common siddhis will arise alongside the supreme. If attachment to the supreme, arrogance, pride, and conceit arise, the supreme will be obscured, just as sandalwood turns into charcoal. Therefore, abandon pride and arrogance from the root. Even if you can pacify diseases and evil spirits, subdue enemies and obstacles, and accomplish any of the four activities, it is not because you have the power yourself. Think that it is the grace of the deities and gurus, and then again carefully perform thanksgiving, offerings, tormas, and tsokhor. In this way, it will become sharper and will not obscure the supreme. In particular, on auspicious days such as the tenth, eighth, and twenty-ninth of the waxing and waning moon, if you carefully make offerings and tormas to the best of your ability, all your wishes will be fulfilled. Immediately after the separation of body and mind, the heroes and yoginis will welcome you with a sea of offering clouds, whether you are reborn in a pure land or make aspirations. This is the view of the tantras. These are the ways to obtain common siddhis. In the context of the eight common great siddhas and so on, after that is the supreme siddhi: Just as a rainbow appears in the sky, from the state of emptiness view, your own body appears as a deity. If you maintain a stable clear appearance of this, then the intermediate state mind body will also be like that, appearing as an empty deity body, actually becoming able to go to the pure land. This is the vidyadhara of Mahamudra. Relics, remains, body images, or signs such as rainbows will appear. If the union is not so clear, and you can nakedly recognize the nature, and continuously maintain this state without distraction, then the outer breath stops and the inner breath remains. When the ground luminosity dawns, just as water is poured into water, if you practice and stay on it for seven days or so, then death will be enlightened as the Dharmakaya, and there will be no appearance of the intermediate state. It is said that this is upward penetration. The signs are that the flesh is bright and lasts a long time, A (Tibetan: ཨཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: Ā, Chinese literal meaning: A) and Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: Hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) appear, and the sky is clear. These two are stable.

Even without a guide (from a lama), through the firm certainty of Thögal (Leap-Over), in the Bardo of Dharmata, if you recognize the peaceful and wrathful deities, you will be born in a pure realm. There, rainbow lights, relics, and so on will appear. If you fail to grasp these, and wander in the Bardo of Existence, knowing that you have died, and if a state of helplessness arises, through the power of the Yidam's great compassion. (Note: In this life, if you practice a Yidam, such as Avalokiteśvara.) Eight Bodhisattvas will appear and say, "Your deity is Avalokiteśvara, you recite the six-syllable mantra, your realm is Sukhāvatī, this is the path to go." Like a prophesying swan king, or as swift as the wind, you will go to the realm of Sukhāvatī, see the face of Amitābha, and immeasurable joy will arise in your mind. Because of this, a flower will be born from the bud of a lotus. As stated many times in the sutras and tantras such as the Ratnakuta Sutra, this serves as proof. In that essential instruction, from now on, dedicate all the merit you accumulate to be reborn there. From then on, you will definitely be reborn there, through the power of Amitābha's aspiration, except for committing the five heinous crimes and abandoning the sacred Dharma, whatever aspiration you make will be fulfilled. If you doubt whether it will be fulfilled, this sin will cause the lotus bud not to bloom for five hundred years. Although you have happiness within, you will still have suffering because you have not seen the Buddha. Therefore, it is most important to be without doubt. What are the benefits of being born there? The name of suffering is not heard there, it is always full of happiness, and you can always attend to the Buddha. All the sins and remaining obscurations accumulated here are purified there by practicing the sacred Dharma. You will never fall into samsara, and you will be able to live a long and healthy life. After passing away from there, you will attain perfect enlightenment. The path to attaining perfect enlightenment is near and without obstacles. It is not that you cannot benefit beings, after attaining the ten bhumis, in the ten directions, with hundreds of millions of emanations, immeasurable benefit to beings will arise from there. Akshobhya, Bhaisajyaguru, Maitreya, Padmasambhava, Vajrapani, and others, will travel to various realms by means of their miraculous powers, personally meet and teach the Dharma, and they will all come to Sukhāvatī. These qualities of the realms are described in detail in the Amitayus Sutra, the Sukhāvatīvyūha Sutra, and the White Lotus Sutra. Being born there
