What is this? Talking to oneself, revealing one's own faults. Not observing others' faults, repeatedly observing one's own faults. Even if there are others' faults, there is no fear of contagion. One's own faults always lead to one's own destruction. After we enter the door of Dharma, What needs to be protected is only discipline and vows. What needs to be done is only accumulating merit and purifying obscurations. What needs to be tamed is only this elephant of one's own mind. What needs to be pointed to is the supreme Bodhi jewel. What is desired is that what is connected is meaningful. Being certain of this, the methods of purifying sins, Prostrations and circumambulations, tsatsas, confession of downfalls, etc. Vajrasattva's visualization and recitation, etc., are recited at appropriate times. Great Dharma assemblies, hundred offerings, lamps, supports of body, speech, and mind. The best method of accumulating merit, mandalas, etc. According to one's ability, strive to accumulate merit. Even without ability, water offerings, giving away the body, etc. Accumulate merit and purify obscurations, according to what is appropriate. If practice is lost, temporarily give instructions on practice. Then take turns and strive during session breaks. Even so, whatever virtuous deeds are strived for, If practice is not separated from the essence, in union, Everything will become unpolluted merit. Therefore, it will definitely become the supreme path to Bodhi. If with attachment separated from the essence of emptiness, Only the cause of happiness in samsara with defilements. That accumulation of the union of two accumulations, If not sealed with the seal of profound dedication, It will not increase, it will easily decline, And it will be exhausted, so Bodhi will not be attained. The object of dedication, the dedicator, the place of dedication, the three aspects. If attached to real things, it is poisonous and of little benefit. Practicing emptiness without separating from practice, The dedication is the dedication of the three wheels being completely pure. That also needs to be understood without inversion, it is crucial. The qualities and wisdom of all Buddhas are equal, However, lifespan, teachings, retinue, and realms, Unequal, different, various appearances also, Are because of the differences in the power of vows made in the past. Gods, nagas, yakshas, demons, and local deities, etc., Power, strength, enjoyment, miraculous powers are immeasurable, Doing various kinds of benefit and harm, The cause is also the accumulation of merit from the past, Dedicating and making aspirations without inversion will be accomplished. In order for oneself to understand the key to that meaning, With a mind that is not inverted and not narrow, Dedication and aspirations are made at the end of every Dharma assembly. Absentmindedly making dedications and aspirations.

It is not achieved by (a certain action). But with unwavering, one-pointed, and strong aspiration, visualize all the Buddhas of the ten directions as witnesses of your mind. Practice without separating emptiness wisdom from compassion. Like the emergence from the final stage of the dissolution process, make aspirations and dedications of the Great Vehicle. In general, like a guest who is sure to leave tomorrow, whatever vows and virtuous deeds you cherish, do not postpone them; accomplish whatever you can immediately. If you have extra time, do more with joy. If not, even if you are to die tonight, strive to do virtuous deeds as much as you can without delay. By hearing, contemplating, meditating, and understanding the meaning of the generation and completion stages, if any thought of action that does not conform to the Dharma arises, you will meet the dakinis of good lineage, the goddess Padma Gsal, and the hundred accomplished masters of Oddiyana (乌仗那), and other places. Even if you have received empowerment, transmission, and instructions, and pure aspirations, due to the remaining karmic obscurations of past licentious actions, you will still take on bad bodies. This is the skill related to the karma of Padmasambhava. Even if not stabbed by a weapon, remember the history of being beaten to death by a stone on the secret place. If you feel a little tired of the experience of understanding and realization, or if you think this life is very important, then observe the sight of death, hear the teachings of death, and the situation of facing death yourself. Check what kind of certainty you have that such a thing will not happen. If you think that death can be avoided by the power of blessings, then think about how many great and holy beings have passed away suddenly, which will make you feel fear. If you think that death can be avoided by medicine and rituals, then why do kings and lords still die? What will happen if I die now? Where will I go? Think about these questions. These two are the main methods of eliminating obstacles and improving practice. Like this, if the view is not wrong, and you realize the true nature of things; if the meditation is not confused, and you combine the generation and completion stages; if the behavior is not licentious, and you carefully take and abandon, then you can obtain both the supreme and common accomplishments. First, there will be omens, and then gradually you will obtain accomplishments. These omens will appear in this life, the next life, and the bardo stage. The appearance of omens, experiences, and dreams, according to the differences of superior, medium, and inferior faculties, are described in detail in the tantras and sadhanas. Some people ridicule and mock experiences, dreams, and omens, etc., because they have not practiced. If you have practiced, how is it possible not to have realization? Just like fire burning produces smoke, and water boiling produces steam. If you do not understand the omens, you will make the mistake of not understanding the boundaries. If you think good omens are good and become arrogant, then obstacles and demons will appear. If you feel disgusted with bad omens, then obstacles will be reduced. In most cases, the omens of ordinary people with inferior faculties are mostly dreams.
