Until reaching the meeting point of the eyebrows at the tip of the nose, visualize the central channel (uma) filled with fire from the navel upwards, like the flames in a blacksmith's bellows. By visualizing the central channel filled with fire in this way, everything naturally radiates bliss and warmth. Visualize clearly, practice vase breathing (bum can), and exert effort in the illusory wheel (khorlo) of the Five Stages and Six Yogas; it is said that even wearing only a thin robe, one can spend the winter warmly. Furthermore, at each of the respective chakra points, meditate on the syllable 'Ram' (Tibetan: རཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: रं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: raṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Rang) and generate joy, as well as extending and meditating on the long central channel, and so on. Although this method may seem slightly different from other methods, do not doubt it. In the 'Dakini Heart Essence Tummo,' it says: 'When warmth arises in the navel, raise it to the heart and throat and meditate. Then, when bliss-warmth arises in the heart, raise it to the throat and crown and meditate. By meditating in this way, the knots of the channels are opened; when the knots of the channels are opened, the essence increases; when the essence increases, bliss increases; the bliss in the body blazes like fire; and bindus come forth like a flood of water. Through this, one realizes the wisdom of bliss and emptiness, and countless common qualities arise. By practicing Tummo and Mahamudra together, one will attain the state of a vidyadhara in one lifetime.' This seems to coincide with the essential points of Guru Rinpoche's (Padmasambhava's) teachings. Furthermore, it also shows other visualizations related to placing the wind-mind on the co-emergent wheel at the eyebrow: Inside, directly in front of your eyebrow, visualize a white triangular dharma source (chos 'byung), with the three corners pointing upwards piercing the two ears and eyebrows, the root being thin and extending downwards into the throat, the inside and outside being clear and white. In the center, there is a white syllable 'Ah' (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: āḥ, literal Chinese meaning: Ah), with the nature of light, from which a stream of undefiled nectar descends, filling the entire body. All attachment, decay, sins, and obscurations are expelled from the two lower doors and pores in the form of black, viscous matter. Meditate on the body becoming like a crystal vessel, and verbally recite 'Ah.' Furthermore, for hot diseases, visualize the white nectar having the nature of camphor, feeling cool; if there is a cold disease, visualize the red nectar like molten copper, feeling warm; for wind diseases, visualize the nectar as nourishing melted butter; for demonic influences, visualize the essence as nectar, but appearing as boiling hot water. Visualize diseases and sins as being expelled in the form of odors, liquids, and smoke, and demonic influences as being expelled in the form of insects.

Meditate on it appearing as black, a shiny black color. By repeatedly focusing in this way, signs of purifying sins and obscurations will occur, such as vomiting, purging, bathing, wearing white clothes, and the rising of the sun and moon. Signs of illness being expelled include the discharge of pus, blood, and other impurities, and the discarding of rotten clothes. Signs of demons being expelled include creatures leaving the body, and these may also appear in experiences or dreams. Thus concludes the five dharma sessions, including the understanding, the practice, and the incidental benefits. This is the understanding for the sixth dharma session: This wheel of great bliss at the crown of the head has three hundred and sixty channels and petals. If these are condensed, there are thirty-two major channels and petals. It is said that if the winds enter these channels and petals, the wisdom of bliss and emptiness will arise; if the winds reverse, phlegm and headaches will occur. Some opinions hold that these channels and petals are the channels that generate bliss and emptiness, and that the fine ends of these channels, the outer channels and petals, have channels that generate phlegm. In any case, it is agreed that they possess both faults and virtues. Therefore, according to this system, the center of the wheel of great bliss is the central channel, and the central channel is the channel of wisdom that generates only virtues. Therefore, meditating solely on the central channel, the center of the wheel of great bliss, has the special characteristic of being faultless and possessing virtues. Then, if one does not meditate on other channels, will faults be avoided? In general, although there are many evil channels in the body related to the six realms, karma, afflictions, obstacles, and wrong paths, the scriptures do not say to meditate on these. Instead, they describe the number, names, and methods of meditation for all the channels through which wisdom flows. Although there are many good and bad channels in the body, the power of meditation awakens their potential. Therefore, the three—the pure wisdom channels, bindus, and winds—must also be made ever new through the power of meditation. Furthermore, regarding this wheel of great bliss at the crown of the head, some consider it to be in the center of the brain, some consider it to be above the center of the brain, some consider it to be on top of the meninges, some consider it to be in the center of the skull between the inner and outer bones, and some consider it to be in the space between the outer bone, the inner skin, and the flesh. There are many such opinions, but whatever the actual situation may be, it is the same. The actual situation is not important here; the method of meditation is what is important. Therefore, according to this system, the upper end of the central channel, the Brahma aperture, is wide open like the opening of a bamboo joint, and the outside is like a tent of red silk erected like the body of a wrathful deity.
