Furthermore, by reciting the six-syllable mantra once, it is as if one has made offerings to all the Tathagatas with clothing, food, bedding, medicine for sickness, and all necessities. Moreover, it is said in the Great Compassionate Secret Assembly Tantra: 'The merit of sentient beings taking lives, even the noble ones can count it; the qualities of reciting the seven-syllable mantra seven times, how can they be expressed? All sentient beings in the three realms, the merit of placing them in the Buddha's realm, can be counted, but the qualities of uttering one seven-syllable mantra cannot be counted; the accumulation of merit from offering to the victorious ones filling the sky, can be counted, but the qualities of uttering one seven-syllable mantra cannot be counted; whoever holds the seven syllables in their mind, is the Great Compassionate One, eliminating obstacles and subduing beings.' Furthermore, the emanation king Songtsen Gampo (c. 617-650) said: Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om), the essence of the body of the Great Compassionate One; Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah), the essence of speech; Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum), the essence of mind; Hrih (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih), also the essence, the six-syllable mantra is the near essence. Thus it is said. In the 'Essence Drop Liberating All Beings from Samsara Tantra' it is said: 'The Vajra Great Snow Mountain Lake gave the teaching, the supreme and common eight great accomplishments, the four activities of the four elements, are accomplished by holding the ten-syllable mantra.' Furthermore, in the 'Do De Zama Tok' it is said: 'In the past, Shakyamuni Buddha heard from the Buddha with a Crown of Hair: Whoever in the world remembers the name of Avalokiteshvara, their merit is happiness. They will be completely liberated from the suffering of old age, sickness, and death. They will not experience the suffering of the end of samsara without another. They, like white-gray clothes, and like the swift king of swans, and like the force of the wind, will go to the Pure Land of Sukhavati to hear the Dharma directly from the Tathagata Amitabha. After hearing, suffering of samsara will not arise in their bodies, greed, hatred, and delusion will not arise, they will not age and die. Their bodies will not be hungry, they will not know the suffering of being in the womb, nourished by the taste of Dharma, they will be born in a lotus flower in that very place, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Avalokiteshvara's yidam will be firm and complete,'

Until all sentient beings attain liberation, (Avalokiteśvara) will always abide in this world. Thus it is said. In general, Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara is the deity of the snowy land of Tibet, and in particular, the six-syllable mantra has spread widely in the Kham region (Kham, now western Sichuan and northwestern Yunnan), so it is easy to accomplish. Padmasambhava said: The Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara is the deity of the snowy land of Tibet, especially this Dharma flourishes in the Kham region, and the teachings of the six-syllable mantra are upheld by the men and women of Do Kham (Do Kham, the area south of Yushu, Qinghai). Thus it is said. At the time of prophesying the coming of the degenerate age, King Trisong Detsen asked: At that time, will practicing Dharma have results? Which deity has the greatest compassion? He replied: At that time, practicing the sacred Dharma will have the greatest results, and among all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, Avalokiteśvara has the greatest compassion, and the conclusion of all Dharmas is the six-syllable mantra. Thus it is said, because this is the Dharma for the time, the blessings are swift. In the testament of Padmasambhava, it is said: Meditate on the Great Compassionate Deity, recite the six-syllable mantra, there is no deeper Dharma than that, even I, Padmasambhava, cannot say it. Thus it is said. If one understands the generation stage and completion stage of this Dharma, there is no deeper Dharma than that. Therefore, the guidance of visualizing the generation stage has actually been completed. The components of this generation stage, combining the meditation on the deity and the Guru Yoga into one to explain, the scriptures say: Pray to the Gurus and Lamas. If we explain the meaning of this sentence, it is like this: For the realization that has not yet arisen, the method of arising, for the realization that has already arisen, the method of increasing it, and for pacifying all the obstacles on the path, it is very important to practice Guru Yoga. Therefore, even an ordinary spiritual friend is more kind than all the Buddhas. Because we ordinary people do not even have the chance to meet the Buddha with the wisdom body, let alone hear the Dharma. The Vajra Master, even if he is an ordinary person, at the time of empowerment and teaching the Dharma, in order to guide those sentient beings, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will enter his body, speech, and mind, thereby guiding the faithful disciples. It is said that even the blessing of the lineage, if practiced, will produce blessings, and that is the key. In particular, the qualified Vajra Master is no different from all the Buddhas.
