When recognizing the nature through seeing, it cannot be determined through observation, the label of terminology cannot be found, it cannot become an object of consciousness. When recognizing one's own nature in nowhere, cutting off superimposition without thought, that is seeing the nature of freedom from elaboration. As it is said in the Compendium: "Forms are not seen, feelings are also not seen, consciousness is not seen, and mind is also not seen. That in which consciousness, mind, and intellect are all unseen, this is seeing the Dharma, thus it is well explained. Seeing cannot be found by any other example. If sentient beings say, 'Seeing space,' then contemplate the meaning of how that space is seen. Thus, the Tathagata has shown the seeing of the Dharma." This is its meaning. Thus, that ordinary, clear realization that emerges from the realm of meditative experience is separate from the five aggregates because it is not established as the nature of a real thing. Therefore, it is separate from the aggregate of form. Because the awareness and clinging of experience are purified, it is separate from the aggregate of feeling. Because there is no label of terminology, it is separate from the aggregate of perception. Because there is no fabricating mind, it is separate from the aggregate of formation. Because there is no clinging to the object of conceptual knowledge, it is separate from the aggregate of consciousness. Therefore, the realization of being separate from the five aggregates is the intention of the Buddha, and it is established as the direct experience of the yogi. As it is said in the Sutra of the Amoghapasha: "This yoga of being separate from the five aggregates is the recollection of the Buddha." This is its meaning. The Great Instruction says: What is it that, without relying on the effort of meditation, mindfulness, and clinging, one realizes the nature of abiding and moving, the co-emergent wisdom of the nature of mind, and the nature of being free from the extremes of the three states of arising, ceasing, and abiding of conceptual thought? Understanding that all dharmas are free from elaboration and unartificial. Understanding that all experiences are empty in nowhere. Like peeling off a husk or finding a treasure, nakedly realizing that the nature of awareness is free from elaboration, thereby feeling that the mind has gained freedom, and abiding in this as the only state. From the beginning, one feels that one has recognized the nature, and there is no increase or decrease in experience. Even if there is, there is no joy or sorrow. If the mind is placed on external appearances, everything will appear like an illusion, but it will eventually disappear. Even if it does not disappear, there is no contradiction. Therefore, appearances are uncertain, and a definite understanding arises from being free from elaboration. That is how it is.

When such realization arises, and quiescence and insight are united, the characteristics of conceptual thought dissolve on their own, and realization dawns as the Dharmakaya. Appearances are also realized as one's own mind. Since the nature of mind is known as the Dharmakaya, and the view is predominantly emptiness, these appearances also naturally function as one without emptiness or establishment, and are blissful in emptiness. Deeply realizing cause and effect and emptiness is called the yoga of non-elaboration. Furthermore, Yang Gonpa said, "Even if the essence of clarity and emptiness is seen in this way, if the clinging of grasping at emptiness with certainty has not been separated, then the distinction between experience and realization has not been distinguished, and it is a small non-elaboration." The Great Instruction says, "Among them, there are three: small, medium, and large. The first is: Although one realizes that the essence of appearance, mind, and awareness is free from arising and ceasing, the clinging of certainty has entered the side of emptiness, and because one has not separated from it, the distinction between experience and realization has not been clearly distinguished. In the subsequent awareness, when one is not caught by thoughts, the grasping of enemies and friends does not cease. The grasping of objects is not cut off. Whatever arises as the appearance of the six aggregates, one becomes attached to grasping at what is good, and one hates grasping at what is not good, and one remains in a state of bewilderment. Therefore, grasping at whatever is good or not good arises. If one is separated from the practice of Mahamudra, it is not good, and if one is not separated, it is good. Therefore, in this case, it is said that the scriptures do not greatly contribute to seeing the truth. Sleep and dreams are also mostly confused, and should also be abandoned. In terms of virtuous activities, there will definitely be some differences in high and low." Je Phagmo Drupa said, "The intermediate is realization that uproots." Gyalwa Yang Gonpa said, "At that time, if the mind is free from arising and ceasing, it is realization. Ordinary awareness is naked. The appearances of the habits of conceptual thought are bright and clear. Awareness is empty. Movement is empty. It does not arise as a phenomenon of existence. It does not cease as a phenomenon of non-existence. It does not abide in a phenomenon of otherness. It is free from the three: arising, ceasing, and abiding. Seeing the meaning of the three doors of liberation, there is no non-virtue of mental activity, so it is said that virtuous actions have arisen. Entering the path of non-contamination, it is the actual path of liberation. The realization becomes stable, and the part of grasping at emptiness with certainty, the stain of practice is completely purified from the root, and ordinary awareness naturally merges into the absence of objects, and the foundation of grasping at appearance and grasping at emptiness is severed, so it is said that the intermediate non-elaboration is uprooted.
