This is the post-meditation state. In the state of great one-pointedness, all experiences and discursive thoughts of samsara and nirvana dissolve into it. Day and night, it appears as a clear and empty state like the sky. The arising of thoughts such as thinking that one has reached the state of no-meditation is the forbearance of the path of joining and the supreme dharma. Furthermore, from the oral instructions of the lineage of accomplished ones, it is said: At this time, the nature of the wisdom that distinguishes phenomena is mixed with samadhi, obtained and abiding in mindfulness, associated with the effort of practice that will not be interrupted until enlightenment, the body and mind are greatly subdued, the extraordinary joy of accomplishing the vast benefit of oneself and others, and the great equanimity without laziness arise simultaneously, associated with the signs of experience. If it is not related to these, then it is a fault, not the realization of Mahamudra. Furthermore, although it is no-meditation in terms of experience, it is the one-pointed yoga of the four yogas of realization. Thus it is said. My teacher, the great scholar Gyalrongpa, said: At the time of the supreme dharma of the path of joining, the thought that one has directly realized emptiness may arise, but in reality, one has not yet realized emptiness. These statements seem to have the same meaning. The difference between one-pointedness and freedom from elaboration is whether or not discursive thought appears as the Dharmakaya. In the Tantra of the Great River of Ali Kali, it is said: Secondly, the illusory-like samadhi, in the great equipoise free from elaboration, the inconceivable power of samadhi manifests. After obtaining warmth, one can freely transform rebirth. Thus it is said. The realization of equality that cuts off addition and subtraction is freedom from elaboration, that is, realizing that the nature of the mind is free from elaboration. If one thinks that emptiness is nothing at all, thereby belittling the relative truth, then it is said to be robbed by the emptiness thief who has no freedom from elaboration. Even if it appears as an object or a realm, it is the post-meditation wisdom without self-nature, like an illusion. Even without the true clinging to real things, the appearance is uncertain, because it is the defilement of not recognizing reality. If the defilement of afflictions is not grasped by undistracted mindfulness, then it is separated from practice. After grasping it, by seeing the nature of what appears, one possesses both separation and attainment. Realizing the meaning of reality, appearing without an object, the non-conceptual wisdom and the post-meditation illusory wisdom are distinguished by equality and post-division. In equipoise, the aspect of realizing the nature without an object

When meditating on non-conceptual wisdom, as post-meditation, meditate on the unreal, like an illusion. This is the time to meditate on the nature of mind in equality and post-meditation. Because the grasping of experiential awareness is purified, the aggregate of feeling is purified. Because there is no imputation of terms, the aggregate of consciousness is purified. Because mind and phenomena are realized as free from elaboration, the consciousness of mind is purified. From the purification of experience, thoughts arise without an object. Because experience and realization are not mixed, experience and realization are distinguished. The power of emptiness is dependent arising. Understanding the illusory result of illusion-like phenomena, cause and effect are like illusions. At this time, abandon this life, and in the state of self-liberation of conceptual thoughts, primarily meditate on emptiness. Knowing the self-nature of thoughts, it is important to completely know with equanimity, including ego. Je Dagpo Rinpoche said: The yoga of non-elaboration is, because the essence of awareness is seen as unborn, one does not expect to become a Buddha upwards, one does not doubt samsara downwards, and in between, one does not grasp appearances, and it cannot be transformed by others. Also, the Great Brahmin said: Just as foam appears but is recognized as water, without the appearance of the second thought ceasing, emptiness and bliss arise inseparably, like the state of foam dissolving into water. Also, from the Five Stages: luminosity and, Lavapa's, inconceivable and, Shavaripa's, yoga and, Maitripa's time of obtaining power, and in the Lankavatara Sutra, formless yoga and, contemplation of excellent discrimination of meaning and, the meaning of secret empowerment are all considered the same. Gyalwa Yang Gonpa said: Thus, by cultivating this one-pointed meditation without attachment, in the state of complete purity of experience, if there is anything, it is like seeing the truth of the dharma nature of non-elaboration, seeing what is self-seeing, seeing with what is self-seeing, seeing without object and subject, the knowledge of the past is cut off, and between the knowledge of the future not arising, the knowledge of the present is a moment of thought, or the nature of non-conceptualization, he himself knows himself without an object. At this time, the boundary between samsara and nirvana is distinguished. All the previous understanding and the good grasping of dharma terms and experience become outer shells. The mind itself, looking outwards, is free from elaboration, and looking inwards, is free from elaboration, free from elaboration.
