When the breath dissolves into consciousness, and consciousness dissolves into clear light, after the appearances of the white channel, red channel, and black channel, one meets the primordial clear light, the original Buddha, the great purity of the very beginning, the meaning of Samantabhadra, and when awareness abides in its own place on the ground, just as the setting sun of the fifteenth day and the rising moon occur simultaneously, without any intervening darkness, here, the cessation of breath and the appearance of the clear light of the self-manifesting Dharmata mandala occur at the same time. As it says in the root tantra: 'This is the explanation of the Bardo of Dharmata. At the time of death is the time of liberation. Consciousness dissolves into the pure sky. When the sky dissolves into the pure clear light, all coarse and subtle appearances cease.' As it is said, the outer four elements cease, and the inner elements are liberated into clear light. Furthermore, in the commentary on the meaning of the Great Compassionate One, it says: 'O sons of noble family, when we are dying, do not forget this instruction, keep it in mind. Do not be attached to this impure worldly appearance, do not cling to it. Direct your consciousness to the crown of your head and do not let your mind wander. In the first Bardo, the appearance of the union of space and awareness is like a clear sky, an experience of bliss, clarity, and non-thought merging into one. There will be no conceptual thought in the mind, and something clear and bright will come. This is common to all sentient beings and is a sign that the breath and mind have merged into the central channel. At that time, know that this is the experience of previous meditation and the indivisible Dharmakaya. Therefore, one becomes enlightened in the first Bardo.' Furthermore, in the Great Compassionate One's Self-Liberation from the Lower Realms, it says: 'Then, after exhaling the breath, it cannot be drawn back in, so the breath ceases. At that time, the results of the three types of good and evil, great, medium, and small, and the three types of suffering, great, medium, and small, arise. At that time, if a yogi has attained self-mastery, the mind will not die, so the meeting of the clear light mother and child, or the merging of emptiness and awareness, also occurs at that time. One becomes enlightened in the state of the Great Perfection of self-nature, the boundless appearance of original purity.' Furthermore, in the Great Compassionate One, Padma Peaceful and Wrathful, it says: 'Then, when the outer breath is about to cease, lay the right side of the body on the ground in the lion posture, squeezing like a wave, cutting off the two channels on the left and right, and pressing down hard. In this way, the breath enters the central channel and cannot return.'

It will surely appear on the path of the Brahma hole. Introduction should also be given at this time." Having said that, pressing the carotid artery slightly with the thumb and forefinger is the key to grasping the intention. Also, fearing that the intention might not be grasped, or even if it is grasped, fearing interference from demons, mongooses, noises, etc. The union of intention and the transference of consciousness of the Dharmakaya is: First, visualize one's own body as the deity body of Avalokiteśvara, etc. Block the eight gates with the letter "ཧཱི" (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, literal meaning: hrīḥ). Clearly visualize the central channel at the crown of the head, and visualize Amitabha Buddha. In the heart, visualize a white bindu marked with the letter "ཧཱི" (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, literal meaning: hrīḥ). Transfer the bindu in the heart to the heart of Amitabha Buddha at the crown of the head many times. After that, without visualizing anything, focus awareness on the heart, practice, and cultivate the mind. Whatever appears, whether it is a white path, a red path, etc., look at the nature of what appears. When the external breath stops, cover it with a cushion, being careful to cover it completely. Slightly press the carotid artery with the thumb and forefinger. If you know how to clearly evoke the intention, do what you know. If you don't know, call out the name three times, saying, "Do not let the intention wander." By doing so, first, remember what the lama previously introduced. Second, directly recognize that naked self-awareness is luminosity. Third, having recognized self-nature, be certain of liberation because the Dharmakaya is inseparable. In this way, one recognizes the first luminosity and is liberated. Thus it is said. Omniscient Dolpopa said: Although good and bad appear in various ways, there is no good or bad. Everything is a play of the aspect of the Dharmakaya. Therefore, merely look at whatever appears. Without hope, fear, abandonment, acceptance, negation, or affirmation. Naturally abide in the state of non-elaboration and equanimity. If there is someone nearby and you do not become distracted. Between the cessation of the external breath and the non-cessation of the internal breath. For three or four days, or five or six days, etc. Remain in luminosity as if in a faint. If you are very familiar beforehand and recognize it well. Awareness will dissolve into luminosity. Even if it does not dissolve, it is better than. Striving to meditate for many years. Thus it is said. The goodness or badness of the body's posture is the function of the cushion. Even if the body is in the lion posture, it is fine. If the body has good radiance, the eyes are slightly closed, the mouth is smiling, and if you sit next to someone who has the practice of mind, if good realization arises, that is the intention. For those who are attached to the state of tranquility, bliss-clarity, and non-conceptuality, good radiance, etc.
