One is very familiar with the great (Yogi). If one always sees a Thögal (Trekchö) deity, there is no need to enter into meditative absorption, because in the introduction to the Longchen Nyingthig it says: When a person is afflicted by illness and the signs of death are complete, especially when the elements gather, the exhalation is long and the inhalation is difficult, white and red appearances arise, and consciousness is confused, at that time, the so-called secret path of Vajrasattva, from the sky in front of oneself, from within one's own chakra, a white thread of light like a drawn spider web, or like a raised spear, or like a ladder, one hope is that a light pillar will appear piercing the sky. However, it is also possible that it will appear with five colors. At that time, focus one's own awareness on the senses, and focus the senses on the thread of light. When awareness dissolves into the light, there is no doubt that one will attain perfect enlightenment at that very moment. That is the lead that leads consciousness to the pure land above. This is called the path of the union of the four wisdoms. The path that liberates simply by seeing, without good or bad deeds and karma, is the key to forcibly enlightening even the most sinful person. Guru Rinpoche said so. For a person who has realized without meditation, there is no need to enter into meditative absorption, because they have already attained Buddhahood in this life. Entering into meditative absorption is to continue cultivating the one remaining path that has not been completed. A person who has realized one taste will not remain for more than three, five, or seven days, and will attain the Dharmakaya at death. A person who has realized without distraction has great freedom in how long they stay or do not stay. Great one-pointedness will last a long time and be stable. If there is attachment to the experience of bliss, clarity, and non-thought, one will fall into the three lower realms. Whether one falls or not, one will know whether one has fallen or not while alive. Moderate one-pointedness can be maintained if it can gently cut off illness and be encouraged. If there is confusion at death and no karma, it cannot be maintained. At the time of death, whatever vow one makes, such as "I will stay this long," will be fulfilled, because at the time of death one has great mental strength. Small one-pointedness cannot be maintained. These are all oral transmissions from Drungchen Kunga Namgyal. In the Blood-Drinking One's Manifestation Tantra, it says: "The accomplishment at the time of death is spoken of from death." The meaning of this is that Je Chökyi Wangchuk said in his treatise on the Six Dharmas:

When a yogi himself is about to die, if he understands the key points, he should think like this: If all things were truly real, there would be no death. When death and fear are seen, it proves that they are not real. Therefore, death itself does not actually exist, yet it appears. Thinking in this way, one should not be concerned about death. Offer all possessions and belongings to the Three Jewels. Abandon the causes that disturb meditation, such as the grief of relatives and friends. If possible, adopt the posture of tummo (fierce heat); if not, lie down in the lion posture. Visualize the guru and the Three Jewels in your mind. Generate faith from the depths of your heart and take special refuge. Consider the moment of your own death as the moment to realize the luminous truth of ultimate reality. For the benefit of all sentient beings, vow to attain the state of union, the Great Perfection, in the bardo (intermediate state) of existence. Repeatedly generate such thoughts and pray fervently. Then, at the time of death, as the visual consciousness dissolves, forms become unclear. As the auditory consciousness dissolves, sounds are no longer heard. As the olfactory consciousness dissolves, smells are no longer sensed. As the gustatory consciousness dissolves, tastes are no longer experienced. As the tactile consciousness dissolves, sensations become dull. Earth dissolves into water, and the body's functions cannot be maintained. Water dissolves into fire, and the mouth and nose become dry. Fire dissolves into wind, and all the body's heat is gathered. Wind dissolves into alaya-consciousness, and the external breath ceases, while the internal breath ceases slightly. At that time, in the first moment, at the time of appearance, the inner sign is like smoke, and the outer sign is like the rising moon. In the second moment, at the time of increase, the inner sign is like a firefly, and the outer sign is like the rising sun. In the third moment, at the time of attainment, the inner sign is like a candle, and the outer sign is like darkness. When these are attained in the fourth moment, they dissolve into luminosity. The outer sign is like the dawn appearing, and the inner sign is like consciousness like a clear sky without clouds. The luminosity that transcends non-conceptual wisdom, will appear as limitless and boundless. At that time, abiding in the state where the luminosity practiced in the present and the luminosity of one's own nature meet like mother and child. The eighty aspects of conceptual nature cease, and the non-conceptual luminous dharmakaya is manifested. Thus it is said. In the "Introduction to Self-Liberation Through Seeing" spoken by Orgyen Rinpoche, it says: At the time of one's own death, earth dissolves into water, water dissolves into fire, fire dissolves into wind.
