That mind without viewing, Does not think of anything, nor has any thoughts. In the assembled gathering, the mind wanders in all elaborations, Without shifting or entering, it is the very display of nature. The essence of mind should be meditated upon as self-pleasing. The mind like a madman is free from actions, That wisdom unsoiled by extremes should be meditated upon. The yogi who does not close his eyes and does not meditate, In a solitary place and a place without a dwelling, Without the stain of attachment and aversion, The meaning, the nature of mind, should be meditated upon. Cause and effect are inseparable, this is the heart's essence. No effort is needed for all the endeavors of experiencing it. So it is said. In the One Hundred and Sixty Dohas: Alas! Ignorant ones, having realized the mind of mind, You will be self-liberated from all bad views. By the power of supreme great bliss, Remaining in that is the supreme accomplishment. In the Secret Treasury of Body: Mahamudra does not depend on others, The object of meditation is oneself, the meditator is one's own mind. Beyond the state of intellect, free from the object of focus, That itself is the fruit, therefore it does not depend on others. Meditation, practice, mantra recitation are one's own mind, The yidam deity is also one's own mind, Therefore, prophecies of dakinis and so on are one's own mind. Beyond the state of intellect, free from the object of focus. So it is said. In the Secret Treasury of Speech: Alas! Then how will samsara be abandoned? Since there is no cause or condition, it is not an object of thought, The very nature of mind abides in Mahamudra. That itself is devoid of the mark of power, In one lifetime, Mahamudra will be attained. So it is said. In the Secret Treasury of Mind: The great seal free from grasping and being grasped, Burning faults and so on by showing the characteristics. If one looks with single-pointedness, it is the ultimate quality, The qualities of single-pointedness cannot be meditated upon. Conceptual thoughts are self-clear, pacified in a stainless state, Without memory, without appearance, like a reflection in a mirror. So it is said. From not focusing on body, speech, and mind, Where there is nothing separate from this, Quickly liberated in an instant from the object of memory and grasping. The vajra mind should be thoroughly examined, From seeing mind as mind, from the equality of taste, It is shown by examining with the peak of inner and outer samadhi, The yogi who abides in the true meaning.

。Wisdom and knowledge are perfected in the realm of secrecy. Thus it is said. From the Doha of Glorious Mountain Hermit Saraha: Alas! Do not be distracted, with your mind look at your own mind. If your own mind is realized by yourself, then the distracted mind will also appear as Mahamudra. The self-liberated aspect, the state of great bliss. Thus it is said. From the Doha of Virupa: Since the nature of mind is emptiness, there is neither this nor that. Therefore, there is no meditation or object of meditation. Without thinking of existence or non-existence, remain in a state of non-distraction. Thus it is said. From the Doha of Tilopa: Tilopa, I have nothing to show. The place is neither solitary nor not solitary. The eyes are neither open nor closed. The mind is neither fabricated nor unfabricated. Know the innate mind to be without effort. Thus it is said. From the Doha of Nagpopa: If you are free from the effort of the path, it is the innate state. Thus, realizing it as it is, there is no need to calculate. If you see the meaning of certainty, without calculation, without error, then there is no grasping of emptiness or non-emptiness. Dharma exhausted, mind exhausted, it protects at the end. Thus it is said. From the Doha of Maitripa: If you know that the deity is met in the mind, then it is the deity. Do not bend awareness, gradually abandon conceptual thoughts. If conceptual thoughts arise in the mind, the yogi should relax like cotton, without fabrication. Abandon activity, and look at your own mind with your own mind. Thus it is said. From the Mahamudra Gangama: The mind is like the center of the sky, beyond the realm of thought. In that state, without letting go or holding on, relax and stay. If the mind has no object of reliance, it is Mahamudra. If you become familiar and accustomed to it, you will attain unsurpassed enlightenment. Thus it is said. From Naropa's Condensed View: The mind abides in the sky, it is said. That self-awareness, free from elaboration, appears and is empty, is empty and appears. Therefore, appearance and emptiness are inseparable. Thus it is said. From Maitripa's Condensed Words of Mahamudra: Nature is not fabricated, abide naturally. Inconceivable, Dharmakaya. Abiding without searching is meditation. Searching and meditating is a mistaken mind. Thus it is said. From the Precious Nine Instructions of Panchen Shakya Shri: If whatever appears is left in its own place, it is effortless spontaneous accomplishment. If whatever arises is grasped as its essence, awareness is liberated in its own place. If the flow of disputes is cut off, then thoughts dissolve into the dharmadhatu. These three are the reality of one's own mind, therefore meditate on them in the main practice. Thus it
