In the Samten Gyü (Samādhi Tantra), it is said: The essence of one's own mind is not established as an entity, it transcends characteristics. When awareness continuously abides, it cannot be represented by Vajrasattva. Thus it is said. In the Tantra of Introducing Self-Arisen Awareness, it is said: View, look at your own mind. Therefore, the Dharmakāya is clear without an object. If that itself remains inseparable and continuous, there is not even a particle of change in meaning. Thus it is said. In the Tantra of Black Yama Skull, it is said: From the beginning, it is non-dual, like the nature of space. Speech and terms are cut off, and there is no fabrication. Because it abides from the beginning, there is no need to seek it from elsewhere. Thus it is said. In the Practice of Bodhicitta, it is said: Mind and Dharmatā are originally non-dual. Even if one searches for the nature of mind, it cannot be found. And one cannot point out to others what it is like. Thus it is said. In the Tantra Equal to Space, it is said: Before there were Buddhas, there was not even a name for sentient beings. The essence of Dharma is myself, and if one realizes that nature, it is the Dharmakāya. If one relies on me, one will manifestly attain Buddhahood. Thus it is said. In the Tantra of Self-Arisen Bliss, it is said: In the view of definite self-awareness, look with the mind without distraction. That is also not object-possessing, but self-observing self, the mind is clear. Thus it is said. In the Tantra of All Views, it is said: Bodhicitta is the meaning of awareness. The former is habit, the latter is the arising of afflictions. Conceptualization arises through the five gates, not falling into the three realms, possessing inherent nature. Without eye-grasping, it is naturally clear, it is naked wisdom, one's own nature is the Dharmakāya, it is without substance and can be known. That nature, without fabrication, is one's own mind, not arising from others, it is one's own mind. Thus it is said. In the Glorious Hevajra, it is said: Great wisdom abides in the body, all conceptualizations are completely abandoned, pervading and knowing all things. Thus it is said. In the Supreme Tantra of Kīla Awareness, it is said: All that appears as Dharma is the self-aware wisdom Kīla. The nature of mind cannot be grasped, the nature of space is without substance. Thus it is said. In the Essence of Tantras, it is said: The clarity of appearance and existence is the essence. Clear awareness, Shawa, is the Dharmakāya. Without grasping, it is spontaneously accomplished. Thus it is said. In the Tantra of the Single Bindu, it is said: The three Jewels with characteristics should also be known as without characteristics. Realize the characteristic-less self-mind as the Dharmakāya. Therefore, the three Jewels

Thus it is said. From the Great Sky: The nature of no appearance, If left uncorrected, is meditation. Thus it is said. From the Tantra Equal to Space: Whatever signs of conceptualization arise, Without blocking, self-arising, self-pacifying is great. Uncorrected, unmade, clear by its own nature. If left uncorrected in great equanimity, It is merely called meditation in name. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Meaningful Debate: Non-distraction, mindfulness is recitation. Practice is in accordance with that. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Union of Awareness: The basis of all, emptiness, is the Dharmakaya. If the wise do not forget this meaning, Great samadhi will never cease. The mind is truly real, Like a bird in the sky without a trace. That which is without self-nature, Is not a moment of mind, It is called constantly remembering movement. Thus it is said. From the Heart Essence of Self-Arising View: The recognition of self-awareness and wisdom Is the meaning of all things being self-arising. Pure like the sky and clear like the sun. Just being clear, it does not set. Just being pervasive, there is no thing. It is not nothing, it knows and is aware. Just being aware, it is naturally empty. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Self-Arising Bliss: Because one's own mind is introduced as the Dharmakaya, It is naturally clear without an object of focus. Abiding primordially, there is no increase or decrease. Body and mind are free from giving and taking. Thus it is said. Again, from the same: Self-awareness is like a crystal, free from existence and non-existence. Mindfulness is unfailing, without going or coming. Whatever mindfulness and awareness arise, At that very time, there is no thing. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Vast Space: The truly profound Dharmakaya Has no birth and no cessation. The signs of conceptual thought are cleared from the root. It is free from afflictions and self-grasping. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Supreme Contemplation: When awareness is in its own original state, Without moving elsewhere, look at the mind. By looking, the non-substantial awareness becomes clear. Constantly without distraction, There is nothing to meditate on or seek beyond that. Thus it is said. From the Sutra of Wisdom's Complete Liberation: From this very mind-essence of clear light, Whenever an appearance of an object arises, That itself should be shown as the meaning of unborn. If the unborn is remembered in the mind, Know that the Dharmakaya constantly abides. Thus it is said. From the Secret Assembly, the Tantra of Non-Attention: Realizing the meaning of the mind being extremely good
