It is seeing the face of Dharmakaya itself, which is cutting off the root of wandering in samsara. The meaning of seeing a rope as a snake is like this: In the grass, there is a colorful rope winding around. That person mistakenly thinks it is a poisonous snake, and such a thought arises. Or he is blown by the snake's breath, or he is very scared because of his inner fear, etc. But that is not an illusion of the eyes, because the eyes only see the colorful rope, and do not observe the snake's blood or mouth and eyes, etc. Oh, how is it mistaken? It is because the mind thinks of the colorful rope as a snake and a poisonous snake, and its harm, etc., and the mind judges it and is mistaken. At this time, another person says: This is not a snake, it is a rope, and shows it to him in his hand. He is freed from the fear of the poisonous snake. That is also like saying that at first There is no reason for the rope to be mistaken for a snake. For example, the mind dwells in the Dharmakaya, but one does not know oneself, and in that radiance one drifts in the waves of samsara, experiencing suffering. When another person identifies the rope, just like being freed from the fear of the poisonous snake, when the lama points out the nature of the mind, he points out the face of the Dharmakaya, and therefore has the confidence not to wander in samsara. For example, the mistake of seeing something that has no reason to be mistaken is called "sudden defilement." If it is not like that, saying that the "sudden defilement" is the author of wandering in samsara, and turning the factor of the mind into bad, and therefore experiencing suffering, this way of understanding cannot determine the original face of the mind. Be serious about this principle, and in this way, through these three metaphors, it is necessary to determine the way the mind is confused. Also, once upon a time in the country of India, there was a king who practiced Buddhism, and he had a son who did not like Buddhism. The king called a magician and said: You perform magic and find a way to make my son like Buddhism. The magician asked the king's son what he liked. He said he liked horses. The next day, the magician brought a good horse decorated with saddles and asked him if he would buy it. The king's son was happy to buy the horse, saying let's run a lap first.
