And cultivate compassion. Clouds are like wool, with frayed edges, thick in the morning and clear in the evening, and strong winds from the north and west. If all these conditions are present, it is a sign that it will not rain. Like flames, the clouds are broken into pieces. It is bad if lakes or small ponds become smaller. Dig a deep hole in the ground, cover it with a stone slab, cover it with soil, and observe it morning and evening. If dew condenses, it will rain. If it is dry, it is a sign that there will be no rain. Ponds and so on should be moved elsewhere. ༈ Then the signs of rain are as follows: lakes and ponds become larger, steam appears, and there is dry lightning and thunder. Clouds move to the north and west, and there are clouds like dragons, crocodiles, and snake heads. Like turbulent waves, like black whirlwinds, like running with armor, endlessly vast. If the clouds churn, boil, and are busy, it will rain. The moon wears a hat, and red clouds form early in the morning. In the morning and evening, the sun wears rainbow earrings. The clouds are blue-red, the color of rainbows and owls. There are many clouds of various colors. Mist gathering on the mountain peaks is a sign of rain. If you feel happy and comfortable, and your experiences and realizations increase, it will rain. Dream of great floods and being swept away by water. Women pour water and alcohol, and cold alcohol. Herding goats and sheep, and hunting wild animals. Brewing alcohol from tree stumps, and carrying water. Collecting taxes, diverting irrigation ditches, and gulping down food. You wear good clothes and have spacious houses. Obtaining game, markets gather, and wealthy people gather noisily. Sons, daughters, and officials come to visit. If you dream of these things, it is a sign that it will rain. If thunder comes from the west, it will rain that night. If it comes from the south, it will rain right now. If it comes from the east, it will rain in three days. If it comes from the north, it will rain at midnight that night. When these signs appear, focus as before. The method of focusing on oppressing the obstructors is as follows: focus on whoever they are individually. ཕ྄ཊ། From your own awareness and body, manifest as an angry form. Lay out the altar of corpses, covering the earth. Offer my body, flesh, blood, and immeasurable enjoyments to those who obstruct the rain and cause harm. Let them all be satisfied, feel happy and joyful. ཕཊ། In the altar, subdue the fierce spirits that obstruct the rain. The wrathful one strikes their heads and smashes them on the ground. Trample them underfoot, dance on them, and knead them like mud.
