Sayuk said: It seems like one has obtained the Dharma of the body, Is it difficult to get to the point? A song about the differences in sentient beings' faculties. Ra Ga Asya immediately said: May it be auspicious! Homage to the Great Seal). Guiding the view without looking at books, Regarding the words of the Kagyu forefathers, Not copying from books, But according to one's own experience, Slightly narrating the way experiences arise. In reality, whether it is in accordance with the Dharma or not, Various appearances arise in the yogi's experience. If it contradicts the meaning of the scriptures, I ask the wise ones not to ridicule. I belong to the lineage of gradual development, It is very difficult to generate experience and realization. Because I am foolish and ignorant, I have done many recitations of the generation stage. Regarding the essence of practice itself, I have not thoroughly understood it, Therefore, I do not have high realization. However, from the age of five, I have been familiar with abiding, moving, guarding, directions, and calculations, Until now, when my hair has turned white, I have not changed, and have always practiced. Therefore, the way experiences arise, Is in accordance with the experience at that time. The way experiences arise, on ordinary days, Is as changeable as the autumn sky, As vibrant as the summer meadow. There is no end to narrating them one by one. Initially, these scattered thoughts, Even if it is said there is no fault, it feels very harmful. The thoughts that arise in the mind, Where do they initially come from? Looking for the place where they arise, I cannot find it. Those thoughts that will arise tomorrow or the day after, Where do they come from today? Those thoughts that arose before, Where have they gone now? These thoughts in the mind now, Where are they abiding? At that time, just tracing the root, There is no arising, abiding, or ceasing. Arising from the mind and dissolving into the mind, Like naturally calm water waves. There is no difference between abiding and moving, Certainty arises about the nature of the mind. If abiding and moving are both mind, without difference, Then what is the point of distinguishing and choosing? Understanding that whatever arises is sufficient to subdue. However, there is a difference between awareness and unawareness, Not looking at one's own face is an ordinary person, Looking at it, one realizes it is practice. For the benefit of new learners, I have spoken the song of abandoning the choice of abiding and moving. I confess to the practitioners. Homage to the Great Seal). For the beginners in practice, Merely pursuing awareness, they obtain the title of profound. Like threading a needle, Do not be distracted, concentrate on awareness.

Single-pointedly focused. If one examines the essence of the mind, It is a state of not remembering anything. I thought this was abiding. Thinking that I must see its essence, I looked, and realized that the essence of abiding is emptiness. I thought this was the union of quiescence and insight. Again, a single thought arose, And I thought in my mind, "The thought has passed." Thinking that I must see its essence, I looked, and the thought vanished, seeing it as emptiness. I thought this was self-pacification and self-liberation. Thus, by focusing too much on awareness, Even though it became very difficult, I did not give up and persevered for several years. After that, I became doubtful about it. Both the thought that there is a time of abiding and the thought of abiding, And the thought that one must see its essence, These two thoughts are superfluous. Looking, I realized that its essence is emptiness. The thought that this is my own practice, And the thought that the thought is slightly calmed, Half and one-third are just superfluous illusions. As soon as a thought has passed, A thought arises: "The thought has passed." And the thought that one must see its essence, Looking, the thought vanishes into emptiness. The thought that this is self-pacification and self-liberation, The thought that the thought is slightly calmed, and those three thoughts. Those three thoughts are just superfluous. Although the initial way of practicing was like that, I also realized that it was not feasible. It seems that it is also not without making any adjustments, The lama who is confused about what to do, The kind and great Lord of Dharma, Visualizing him on the crown of my head, I prayed sincerely. I performed guru yoga, closing myself off for three sessions a month. His blessings actually came. I realized the key to abiding without making adjustments. There is no difference between abiding and moving. Ah! It turns out that focusing is not like that, Just not being distracted, relaxing and abiding. The experience of abiding is like a calm ocean, The movement is like a wave dissolving into the water. The movement does not hinder meditation, Even if hundreds and thousands of thoughts arise, It is like rain falling into the ocean, Dissolving into that state of practice. Without needing to be tense and focused, By abiding in a natural state, great things are accomplished. The movement itself arises as meditation. Abiding and moving, why choose? Unlike before, the difficulty is reduced, Without needing any effort, It is enough to sit quietly. Now, distraction is no longer harmful, I feel that there is no difference between the city and a solitary place. That kind of experience lasted for about three months. After that, due to city dharma assemblies and so on, Distraction increased, and the experience disappeared. Even though there is no Choice between abiding and moving, But during that time, forgetfulness increased, And the clarity of conviction seemed to diminish. The experience of practicing abiding and moving
