The meaning of gaining a little. Those whose hearts delight in non-virtuous sins, Indra's consorts, goddesses of pleasure, and others, The precious queen of the wheel-turning king, Endowed with the thirty-two qualities of a woman, To the assembly of eighty thousand consorts and others, Hearing that they are as dreamlike, without essence, Do you still desire ordinary women? Knowing that the pleasure of a moment's union Will bring unbearable suffering in hundreds of thousands of lifetimes, The intense suffering of the lower realms, Yet you are madly breaking your vows. The precious human body of leisure and opportunity, so difficult to obtain, You must not return empty-handed from the precious island, But carry the burden of sin and downfall. The precious human body born in the degenerate age, To those who do not act like madmen, Look upon them with compassion, Noble Avalokiteśvara! Om! Jewel in the Lotus! Hum!) This short song of remembering the difficulty of obtaining leisure and opportunity, In the Horse year (Tibetan calendar), on the eighth day of the waxing moon of Drowa Zhun, Raga Asya spoke from what arose in his mind. Emaho! Appearances, existence, samsara, nirvana, dharma, Conditioned and unconditioned, There is nothing that is not included in them. The dharmadhatu and dharmakaya, Space and the like are unconditioned, They are permanent and unchanging. The form body and the world, All sentient beings are conditioned, Therefore they are impermanent and changing. All established things, There is not a single thing that remains permanent, The duration can be long or short. The three thousand great thousand worlds, Mount Meru, the four continents, the sun and moon, Hundreds of millions of billions, Even if they remain for a very long time, Eventually they will be destroyed by fire, water, and wind. The incarnate Buddhas of this fortunate eon, The vajra bodies adorned with marks and signs, They too show the way of impermanence and passing away. The pratyekabuddhas and arhats, Endowed with immeasurable clairvoyance and miraculous powers, Even those who have completely eradicated their afflictions, Their bodies are also impermanent and pass into nirvana. Brahma, Indra, and the wheel-turning king, Even with the great power of vast merit, When their lifespan is exhausted, They die involuntarily. Kalpas of increase and decrease, and The four seasons of the year are impermanent and changing. The non-Buddhist sages with clairvoyance, Unobstructed by mountains and rocks, Although they can fly five hundred yojanas, There is nowhere to go but to death. Geser, the general, Rinchen, and others,
