The practice is of medium level. For all sentient beings to attain Buddhahood, Even small virtues become great. Throughout three countless great kalpas, Only taking the bodies of gods and humans who possess Dharma. Even if occasionally taking the body of an animal, Able to teach Dharma to animals of the same kind. Its flesh, blood, bones, and skin, Whoever uses it will be gradually guided, And ultimately attain the unsurpassed, perfect Buddhahood. In the meantime, no matter how much immeasurable happiness is experienced, Not even a small virtue is exhausted. This is the power of generating bodhicitta, dedication, and aspiration. Before the dedication is completed, all virtues, Even if regret arises, or boasting to others, Or if strong anger arises, the root of virtue will be exhausted. After the dedication is completed, there will be no exhaustion. A brief song summarizing the ten categories of virtuous deeds. Written with joy on the fifth day of the red monkey month of the horse year (Tibetan calendar), When the sky was clear. Homage to Shakyamuni. Killing, stealing, and sexual misconduct, Each of these four roots has ten faults. Drinking alcohol has sixty faults. Drinking alcohol is the source of ten non-virtues. The ripening result of drinking alcohol is in the Howling Hell, Where one is reborn to drink only boiling bitter water. By the result similar to the cause, one is reborn as a fierce yaksha, Or reborn as a demon who likes to drink alcohol. By the dominant result, if reborn as a human, One will take five hundred rebirths as a madman. The ripening result of abstaining from alcohol is, Rebirth in a pure land. By the result similar to the cause, in all rebirths, One will be reborn to practice Dharma-possessing meditation. By the dominant result, in all rebirths, One will be reborn with careful discipline. Whoever drinks alcohol, except for tsok wine, Those faults will occur to people. Drinking alcohol after taking vows increases the fault a millionfold. Tsok wine is more important than anything, Placing a drop on the tongue is a vow. If this is not done, the tantric vows are broken, It is said that one will be reborn in the Blister Hell. If one is an ordinary person, abstaining from alcohol, For monks, drinking alcohol is an obstacle from demons. Thus spoke the monk Rahula Asita. Homage to the Great Compassionate One. If one eats meat that has been dedicated, It is said that one will be reborn in the Great Howling Hell. If one eats the dedicated meat on that day, One will be reborn in the Avici Hell. Making medicinal meat for the benefit of the sick, This is permissible.

Especially the sin is heavy. Performing hundreds of peaceful and wrathful rituals, Making sacrificial meat for the purpose of reciting Dharma, That domestic animal will be reborn in a good realm. For whom, the deceased or the living, The offering will cause them to be reborn in hell. If the meat of the dead is combined with trade, If there is no greed, the offense is small. Meat is the result of eating similar causes, Rakshasas, subtle and untamed, Are born as harmful ghosts. For those who eat meat, the resultant effect is: Lions, tigers, leopards, wolves, and Cats, foxes, and other wild beasts, It is said that they will take many rebirths. Meat that is not sacrificial meat, There is no offense in making feast meat, That domestic animal will also be reborn in heaven. The ripening of abandoning meat, Will be reborn into the lineage of gods and Brahmins. The similar cause result is protected by gods and demigods, and the resultant effect is that the white side of it, The gods gather and the knowledge mantras are also accomplished. However, those who abandon the vows of the feast, Because the vows are broken, they are reborn in hell, Because the punishment of the dakinis arises, A little bit should be placed on the tongue. Unlike alcohol, meat and feast food, It is permissible to eat with satisfaction while possessing samadhi. That is also the definite understanding that it is nectar, The samadhi of offering the body mandala is extremely important, That domestic animal is the parents of the previous life, Compassion should be generated for them, Kaṃ ka (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) and the lotus Uttīṣa, With mantras, offer the remaining meat and bones, Dedicate and pray for the domestic animals to obtain happiness. This easy-to-understand verse on the permission and prohibition of meat, Was spoken by the monk Rāga Asya. Noble Great Compassionate One, please be mindful. Underneath Jambudvipa (the continent of Jambudvipa), Underneath two hundred thousand kotis, There is the world of Avīci Hell. Below that, in order, are the eight hot hells, Each of which is surrounded by sixteen neighboring hells. On the southern side of all of those, In the sixteen black iron cities, In the great iron city in the center, The Yama, the King of Dharma, resides. All sentient beings who have done good, See the peaceful Buddha with a blue body, See one with a crown and Dharma robes. Those who are accustomed to sin, See a dark blue one with four faces and four hands, With four feet and in wrathful attire. With the head of a hatred snake, and With the head of an ignorance pig, and With the head of a desire bull
