Mouth dry and cold. Born in a hot place in winter. Lying, divisive speech, harsh speech, and idle chatter are called the four non-virtues of speech. Greed means being selfish and self-centered. Regarding the wealth, possessions, and power of others, one feels envious and wishes to possess them oneself. The ripening result of this is rebirth as a hungry ghost. If one is reborn as a human due to the causal similarity result, one will be very greedy and never know satisfaction. If one is reborn due to the dominant result, one will be born in a bad place where crops do not ripen. The ripening result of harboring harmful thoughts towards others is definitely rebirth in hell. If one is reborn as a human due to the causal similarity result, one will become an angry person without self-control. If one is reborn due to the dominant result, the food in that place will not be delicious and sweet, but bitter and rough. Wrong view means that even after hearing about good and bad, benefit and harm, and the compassion of the Three Jewels and the benefits of the Dharma, one does not believe it, but only makes random guesses. Thinking and speaking about these things is wrong view. The ripening result is rebirth as an animal. If one is reborn as a human due to the causal similarity result, one will be foolish and ignorant, becoming a mute. If one is reborn due to the dominant result, one will be born in that place without possessions and without finding a livelihood. These are the three non-virtues of mind. Thus, if these ten non-virtuous actions are driven by anger, one will be reborn in hell. If driven by desire, one will be reborn as a hungry ghost. If one commits non-virtue driven by ignorance and delusion, one will be reborn as an animal. This is due to the difference in motivation and intention. If one commits much killing, one will be reborn in hell. If one accumulates a moderate amount of killing, one will be reborn as a hungry ghost. If one commits only a small amount of killing, one will be reborn as an animal. This is the difference in lightness and heaviness due to the amount. Stealing, robbery, harsh words, harmful thoughts, etc., if one commits non-virtue towards the objects of virtue such as the lama and sangha, one will be reborn in hell. If one commits a moderate amount of non-virtue, one will be reborn as a hungry ghost. If one commits non-virtue towards ordinary bad people, one will be reborn as an animal. The objects of accumulating non-virtue have high and low distinctions. These non-virtuous actions, one first has the intention to do them, then carries them out, and afterwards has no regret. This refers to the completion of the three aspects: preparation, main action, and subsequent action. Whether one is reborn in hell or as a hungry ghost, one cannot be liberated until the end of one's lifespan, even...

Even those bad bodies like pigs, etc., will be taken for a full five hundred rebirths in succession. Afterwards, if you regret and confess, you will be liberated after half of your life in hell and as a hungry ghost is over. Taking a bad body is enough for half and three hundred times. At first, there was no thought of doing that sin, in the middle, it was lost in confusion, and afterwards, there was regret and confession. When born in hell and as a hungry ghost, you will be quickly liberated without a long time, and a bad body, even an animal, is enough for a few rebirths. The retribution for taking a life is that even if you confess, it will not be purified, and you yourself will cause the cause of death nine hundred and ninety-nine times. In this way, the result of the ten non-virtues is the same whether you have taken vows or not. There is no difference between men and women, Bonpos and Buddhists. Whoever does it will produce those results. If you do it after taking vows, on top of that, you will break the Buddha's words and endure a hundred thousand times the results. Birds, wild animals, beasts of prey, animals, etc., if ignorant people in remote areas do it, it will be even more sinful. Not knowing is a greater sin, because animals are more ignorant, so it is said to be less. Nowadays, if you take vows and engage in impure conduct, it is considered a great sin to break the vows. Men and women who have not taken vows think that there is no sin in engaging in impure conduct, but apart from the severity, having sin is the same. Whatever non-virtue is done after taking vows is a transgression of the precepts, called breaking the vows, and the discipline is broken. Men and women do those non-virtues, which are natural sins. In name, it is called doing sin, and there is a difference in name, but in meaning, it is the cause of bad destinies, and there is no difference. That, in meaning, is consistent with the view of the profound Dharma. The three realms of the Lama have established it for all beings. It is said that the established and natural sins are both a kind of transgression. Nowadays, those who have broken their vows, after losing their vows once, think that they are gone anyway, and do whatever they want. For example, the more lives you take, the greater the sin, and the more you engage in impure conduct, steal, rob, lie, etc., the greater the sin and the heavier the punishment in hell. Even if the sin is great after breaking the vows once, thinking that there is no chance to restore the vows, without returning the vows, engaging in impure conduct, etc., many times, equal to that number
