The practice of manifestation is the main thing. This is the secret of all secret mantras. It is the secret word of the wisdom dakini, This secret mantra practice itself is very profound. With the self-aware great axe, Cut off the clinging to gods in the hope of gaining benefits, Cut off the clinging to ghosts in fear of being harmed, Cut off the five poisons, three poisons, and conceptual thoughts. Machig Labdrön's Chöd is the root. Happiness, suffering, sickness, health, comfort, pain, etc., Whatever arises, its nature is emptiness. All are integrated into the six tastes of equality. All of appearance, existence, samsara, and nirvana, Apart from one's own mind, there is not a single atom. If one does not transcend these appearances and existences, It is like the mark of a Chakravartin. The self-mind of Mahamudra itself, There is not a single thing that is not complete in it. Dzogchen Trekchö is one's own mind, Knowing it is the best way to know all knowable things. It is called Prajnaparamita. It is free from existence and non-existence, permanence and annihilation, arising and ceasing. The Great Madhyamaka is one's own mind. By guarding one's own mind in this way, A hundred rivers gather under one bridge, A hundred birds are driven away by one stone. Knowing one thing, one is skilled in all things, Like a wish-fulfilling jewel. Like this, if one recognizes one's own mind, By continuously guarding it, Wanting a deeper Dharma than that, Is like finding an elephant and then looking for its tracks, Finding a jewel and then looking for a rope. The ignorant, foolish person, the blind person, Is a person without a brain. Thus spoke Raga Asya, Whatever I think, I say, I confess. །།namo mahāmudrāye། (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) །།नमः महामुद्राय,namaḥ mahāmudrāya,Homage to the Great Seal! The essence of practice is the state of guarding, One's own mind naturally abides, And the two, the essence of emptiness abiding, Are without separation, merging into one. Do not be distracted from this, with one-pointedness, Like a lamp not moved by the wind. Steadily and naturally. Sometimes even if conceptual thoughts arise, They naturally subside like water and waves. Sometimes when distracted, one is like an ordinary person, When not distracted, meditation is naked. Sometimes even when meditating, it is unclear and turbid, Sometimes even without deliberately meditating, The clear emptiness of nakedness arises here. Sometimes one is immersed in the realm of dreams, Sometimes one dreams of wonderful pure appearances. Whether one dreams of good or bad, it is like clairvoyance. Faith, pure appearances, and renunciation increase, Diligence and karmic connections awaken. Sometimes even if it appears like that, Mostly it is ordinary illusion. Seeing the truth with one-pointedness is just a little, There are few illusions, and mostly it is the truth. Samadhi is moderately stable, There is little time for distraction.

Apart from that, most of the day is spent in meditative absorption. This is great one-pointedness, in the meditative absorption of the union of calm and insight. Because it abides in one-pointedness, it is called one-pointedness. That also has two, the place of looking and the one who looks. It seems that they exist separately. Clear, naked, and bright, possessing great certainty. For example, that ferocious lion does not walk by taking steps, but goes by making great leaps. Then, looking back, it sees how far it can jump. Likewise, the yogi of one-pointedness, even if thoughts scatter outward, does not chase after them, but looks back at the nature of his own mind. Therefore, for this meditation of one-pointedness, the Victorious Ones have said it is the meditative absorption of the majestic lion. This little song of one-pointedness, on the fourth day of the Sagittarius month (fifth month of the Tibetan calendar) of the Horse year (no specific year), this was written immediately as whatever came to mind, by the monk Rāhula Asya.
