Furthermore, there is also some stinginess, and attachment to the laws of samsara, so there is no desire to attain liberation. Or, without taking vows, one abstains from evil and gives alms, but does not seek the Dharma, and has no desire to obtain the Dharma. The magnitude of these virtues, and the strength of the power of giving, lead to different results: being born in the Land of Unpleasant Sound, practicing the conduct of cattle, or being born in the Land of Superior Body. Therefore, the merit is slightly smaller. They are each born in their respective dependent islands. In the Land of Unpleasant Sound, one can live for a thousand years, and there is no untimely death there. The happiness of enjoyment is unimaginable, without the need for effort, and there is no ownership of the things enjoyed. The food is uncultivated crops, which are exhausted tonight and born again tomorrow. The clothes are the leaves of the wish-fulfilling tree, and one wears various silks. The ornaments are the fruits of the tree, and ornaments of gold, silver, and jewels are born. Although there are birth, old age, and death, there are no diseases, enemies, and demons. The sacred Dharma does not flourish, and there are no enemies, friends, and kings. From the tree comes the sound of a death omen, and one will die seven days later. Abstaining from killing and giving alms, but not knowing how to dedicate and make aspirations, the result is becoming a person of Unpleasant Sound. The power of giving is very strong, and one will receive five hundred such rebirths. Therefore, the merit of giving is exhausted, and one will fall into the lower realms. The people who practice the conduct of cattle have cattle, wealth, grain, and jewels, and enjoy great wealth, requiring only a little effort. Although the lifespan is five hundred years, there are untimely death, diseases, and demons. The Dharma also flourishes slightly from time to time. The people of the Land of Superior Body are beautiful in appearance but do not know contentment. The lifespan is three hundred and fifty years, and there are diseases, demons, untimely death, as well as enemies, friends, and kings. They enjoy grain, jewels, wealth, and livestock, but do not understand the sacred Dharma. Even if it is explained, they do not understand and develop wrong views. They have faith in the Three Jewels, keep the vows purely, give alms but are also somewhat stingy, and at the time of death, they receive the Dharma and empowerments, etc. They like to hear the Dharma, and if they can get it, they are very happy, and they make aspirations to be reborn as humans. Then they will be reborn in the human world. However, they have strong wrong views, slander virtuous teachers, and ridicule those who preach the Dharma, so the Dharma does not flourish in the borderlands.

Oh! The joys and sorrows and the length of life in this world change with uncertain times. In the era of increasing prosperity, human beings can live to be eighty thousand years old, with complete happiness and abundance. After that, it gradually decreases, becoming worse and worse, with lifespans of thirty and twenty years, and even as short as ten years, suffering from famine, disease, and war. After that, it increases again to eighty thousand years, and such cycles occur eighteen times. In the era of increasing prosperity, a Chakravartin (Wheel-Turning King) is born, upholding morality, practicing patience, and generously giving great wealth, for the sake of obtaining human and divine happiness, dedicating the roots of virtue for that purpose. He is born as the prince of a small kingdom, possessing the thirty-two major marks of excellence on his body, different from ordinary people, like a divine child, without disease or untimely death. Indra (Sanskrit: Śakra, Devanagari: शक्र, Romanization: Śakra, literal meaning: Powerful One), the lord of the gods, gives him a golden wheel. That wheel treasure goes wherever he desires, flying in the sky, following the king. The king and his retinue travel through the sky. From page 101 to 200. A jewel-encrusted victory banner is placed on top, and as soon as the king makes such a wish, gold, silver, tea, silk, and even barley and rice, all desired things fall like rain, filling all the lands, making all people happy. There will be an invincible jewel general, and with him, no one can defeat the enemy. The jewel queen is like a goddess, surrounded by eighty thousand queens. He has a thousand sons, all of whom are brave and powerful. The jewel elephant and jewel horse are ridden by the king, arriving with majesty. After circling the entire Jambudvipa (Sanskrit: Jambudvīpa, Devanagari: जम्बुद्वीप, Romanization: Jambudvīpa, literal meaning: Rose-apple Island), he returns to the palace in the evening. When the king comes flying in the sky with a great army, all the people of Jambudvipa (Sanskrit: Jambudvīpa, Devanagari: जम्बुद्वीप, Romanization: Jambudvīpa, literal meaning: Rose-apple Island) prostrate and say, "We are your subjects, coming without fighting." At that time, the king establishes laws, abandoning the killing of any sentient being, abandoning the stealing of others' wealth, not engaging in impure acts with others' wives, not speaking lies or divisive words. Apart from such laws, there are no taxes or forced labor. In this way, he flies to the four continents, and all four continents are brought under his control. Then he goes to the realm of the gods, and half of the heavenly realm is also brought under his feet. The jewel minister has clairvoyance, knowing the king's mind and intentions. The minister accomplishes those tasks.
