Because there is a dwelling place in a precious rock cave, even if hailstones fall, there is no harm. Raining in due season, producing thunder, causing the world to have good harvests and prosperity, and causing the Buddha's teachings to flourish. However, the malevolent Nagas of the black side must have conflicts with it in its abode. Sometimes becoming ill and near death, at that time there is no rain in the world. The Naga king with Bodhicitta, relinquishing miserliness and giving generously, at that time gold mines, silver mines, copper mines, and iron mines will burst open. Other than that, all Nagas are ignorant, arrogant, and very jealous. The Naga race with poisonous eyes, being looked at by it, all diseases will arise in the body. The Naga with poisonous hands, whatever it touches will die from disease. The poison of the fangs and the poison of the breath, harm with the poison of the mind. A poisonous jewel is tied on the crown of the head, from which clouds arise, and even if there is heavy rain, crops, grass, etc., will not grow and will rot. Sometimes the Garuda bird comes there, cutting and eating the large Nagas, swallowing and eating the small Nagas, like an eagle chasing birds. Sometimes hailstones fall, and the flesh and bones of all Nagas decay. Praying for rain, but there is no rain at all. In order to subdue the Nagas of the black side, Hayagriva and Vajrapani are powerful, and wrathful deities appear, bringing great suffering. The white-sided Nagas who delight in the Dharma, the black-sided Nagas who delight in sin, humans and non-humans fighting, inauspicious times, etc., killing, expelling from the country, plundering, etc., are like humans encountering inauspicious times. Sometimes leprosy and scabies, etc., great epidemics and plagues, etc., are like humans encountering evil diseases. When the king's decree is violated, all the crests of the snake heads are cut off, expulsion from the country, etc., are brought to justice. Enjoyment is inconceivable, precious mineral deposits fill the underground, the beaches of the great ocean, etc., although all are precious jewels, they are hidden and buried for fear of being taken by others. Frog meat is placed in butter, and when cooked, it is considered the best food. At that time, like immaterial gods and demons, they truly exist in the ocean.
