Take it in your hands. Wherever one is born in the six realms, there is suffering. Pray to be born in the Sukhavati realm. The means to lead all those connected (to this practice) to that realm is precisely this Mani Bum Sadhana. Generate faith, respect, and definite understanding in this. When the generation and completion stages of this are accomplished, the accumulation of merit and purification of obscurations will be sufficient. Provide food and drink on time without deception. Do not complain about hardship and toil, but diligently strive for the generation stage of this practice. Meditate on the joy of purifying obscurations. Visualize Guru Orgyen (Padmasambhava) on the crown of your head. Pray to the Vajra Guru (Tibetan: བཛྲ་གུ་རུ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रगुरु, Sanskrit Romanization: vajraguru, Literal meaning: Diamond Guru). Dissolve into light and merge into yourself. Visualize your own body as the Great Compassionate One (Avalokiteśvara). Continuously utter the six-syllable mantra. With your own mind, look at your own mind. Observe what forms and objects are present. Rest in the state of not seeing. Even if there are no visible objects, there is still a feeling to be experienced in the mind. Be in a state of not remembering anything. Abiding in that is called "abiding." Whatever arises and whatever is remembered, that is called "moving." The awareness that does the abiding and moving is also called "awareness." Thus, with regard to the three—abiding, moving, and awareness—continuously on your own view, cultivating practice is called "practice." For that which has no visible objects, it is called "emptiness." If you understand that well, it is called "Prajnaparamita." Look again and again, briefly and many times. That is called cultivating practice. If you cannot find what to look at and it is not clear, offer about a hundred prostrations and then look. Morning and evening, straighten your posture and look. Whatever happens, whether clear or unclear, do not give up, it is important to continuously look. Without regarding movement as a fault, relaxing and looking is the key instruction. Looking at your own mind with your own mind is called "view." Continuously cultivating that is called "meditation." Doing virtuous deeds and abandoning evil deeds is called "conduct." In the future, to be born in the Sukhavati realm, making such aspirations, there is no more excellent result than that. For the time being, without abandoning the nature of mind, accumulate the number of recitations morning and evening, and also practice as much as possible during sessions. All the parents and relatives are replaced (by me). Please know that I am (your relative). Stay with your mind firmly settled. Tea and tsampa at the appropriate time, boil and serve. The quality of the food, the roughness of the handwork, etc. Because of the encouragement of the giver (referring to the author), Rāga Asya immediately said these words.

Said. auspicious! May it be auspicious! Homage! The complexion of Jetsun Mila, With eyes like Naga Pani. This is the instruction to Potre Geshe. Namo Guru. The little tiger-like bee flying in the beautiful meadow, Do not be distracted by the buzzing Bodhi, just suck the nectar! When the autumn wind blows, there is no freedom. Little tiger-like bee, store honey for the winter! The blooming lotus growing in the green nursery, When it is radiant, offer it to the Three Jewels! When destroyed by the hail of time, there is no freedom. Fresh flowers, put them in the temple as offerings! The bird king cuckoo, which sings with a melodious voice, When the gods send rain, drink to your heart's content! When there is no rain and a great drought occurs, there is no freedom. Bird king cuckoo, relieve the suffering of thirst! The young monk who has been ordained since childhood, When you are young and intelligent, study hard! When you are old and weak, and your abilities decline, there is no freedom. Young monks, learn solid knowledge! The young monk sitting in front of the lama, When the lama and fellow practitioners gather, study hard! When impermanence comes and you separate, there is no freedom. Young monks, learn to be independent! The young monk who has cut his hair and taken vows, When you reach adulthood, keep the vows! When you behave badly and your vows are loose, there is no freedom. Young monks, keep your vows pure! The song that combines experience and metaphor is wonderful! If you understand the meaning of the metaphor, that is the truth. If you don't understand the meaning, it's just empty talk. I wrote down what I thought of in order to get the job done. Thus, Raga Asya said. Hey! Listen, young monks! Don't be silent, study knowledge. Don't make up lies at will. Give up the fight between you and me. Abandon meaningless play. Abandon boring wandering. When will the tea be drunk, and when will the tea offering be finished? On the tenth day of the eight thousandth month. In front of the statue of the Tathagata Buddha. Now look for uninterrupted hundred prostrations. When old age and death come, it is priceless. Give up those meaningless vows. Do something meaningful. Just like the sun shines on a blind person. To eliminate the karma of the old mother beings.
