猛咒、暴咒、诛业等，誓不修持如是业。修心、大手印、大圆满，誓作精髓之修持。为利后世有情众，自身所知诸功德，可阅览之记录当书写。以大悲为首要，本尊念修如水流，誓不间断恒常修。于诸有缘及亡者，回向净治慈悲心，陀罗尼咒常念诵，莫忘积资净障之誓言。此亦是当行之事。以无变金刚为首，自续确定之弟子，及托付心意之僧侣，守护轮等混合之，观想次第不忘失，如是立誓。如是十六条誓言，无碍究竟圆满时，祈愿根本传承之上师众，皆赐予加持。

Wrathful mantras, violent mantras, and actions of killing, I vow not to practice such activities. For the three, Mind Training, Mahamudra, and Atiyoga, I vow to practice the essence. With the intention to benefit future generations, all the qualities I know, I shall write down records that can be viewed. With great compassion as the foremost, the practice and recitation of the Yidam, like a flowing river, I vow not to interrupt it. For all connected beings and the deceased, dedication, purification, love, and compassion, and the constant recitation of dharanis and mantras, without forgetting the vows to accumulate merit and purify obscurations. This too is a vow to be undertaken. With the Immutable Vajra as the head, disciples who are certain in their own lineage, and monks to whom the mind is entrusted, mixing protection wheels and so forth, I vow not to forget the stages of visualization. Thus, approximately sixteen vows, when completed without obstacles, may all the gurus of the root lineage bestow their blessings.
