The Mahamudra appears, it is the means to attain the supreme accomplishment. If you guard it, there will never be the experience of bliss or the experience of clarity. Everything is seen as emptiness, and even the body seems unreal. All internal and external vessels and beings, samsara and nirvana, are seen as emptiness, like the sky. As soon as such realization arises, everything exists in emptiness. Where are good and evil, benefit and harm? If you think like this, not fearing sin and not doing good, then the delusion of emptiness is the work of demons. Because of wrongly viewing emptiness, as it is said in the scriptures, those with little wisdom will fall into the obstacles of the Avici hell. No matter how high the realization is, carefully calculate the practice of cause and effect. For example, in the empty sky, relying on the interdependent arising of moisture, heat, and cold, rainbows, clouds, rain, and hail will appear. Although all phenomena are emptiness, the interdependent arising of cause and effect does not deceive, therefore the six realms of beings will experience various kinds of happiness and suffering. By meditating on the wisdom of emptiness, one can escape samsara and attain the Dharmakaya. By accumulating merit and meditating on compassion, one can attain the Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya. The wisdom of emptiness is the means, accumulating merit is the method, practicing the union of the two accumulations is the means to attain the two kayas. When striving to accumulate the two accumulations in this way, thinking that everything is mind, thinking that mind is like the sky, thinking that mind is neither existent nor non-existent, thinking that it is neither existent nor non-existent, thinking that there is nothing in the mind. Even if such thoughts occasionally arise, they can be tolerated. Even if it is about to become like that, with the thought that "it is like that," firmly grasp the clinging of definite understanding. If this life passes away, one will be lost in the four realms of formlessness. For eighty thousand kalpas, there will be no way to obtain a good or bad body, and a state similar to unconsciousness will arise. Afterwards, one will again obtain a body and wander in samsara. Such a stable definite understanding is the doctrine of externalist heretics, who desire to attain the Dharmakaya. Even if such realization arises, examine those who think that everything is mind, those clingings. Those clingings should be placed on oneself. Emptiness appears as Mahamudra, that is the correct means. Like this, the experience of bliss, clarity, and non-thought, as well as dullness, agitation, and so on, these have no fixed order, whether they appear first or later is fine.

Emergence, the cycle of manifestations will occur many times. The time is sometimes long and sometimes short, a few years, a few months, a few days, or even just a moment. This is uncertain, it is human nature. If it doesn't manifest, it won't happen, you must proceed step by step like a ladder. Sometimes greed, hatred, jealousy, and stinginess are stronger than before. People with harsh words and stubborn hearts also call themselves practitioners, but they slander others behind their backs. Harsh words and deeds are the root of causing sins and obstacles. Pray to the Lama Guru, relax your body and mind, and soothe and nurture yourself. This in itself is very beneficial. For slander, bad words, etc., specifically target them, observe their essence, and realize that they are empty. Starting from small things like this, you must gradually learn about important aspects as well. For any bad thoughts that arise, it is important to be aware of them after they have arisen. Then, destroy them immediately when they arise, and then naturally liberate them like water waves. Taming one's own mind is the best of taming, it is the supreme method of pacifying afflictions. Because afflictions and delusions are enemies, if you think you can pacify them by suppressing them, then you are falling into the obstacle of helping the enemy's power, which is an obstacle that does not conform to the true meaning of Tantra. All afflictions and delusions are originally great wisdom, and it is because of not realizing this that they wander in samsara. On the other shore of abandoning afflictions, even if there is no manifestation of wisdom, if you follow afflictions, you will still wander in samsara. Even if you can change your mind after abandoning them, it is only Hinayana, not Mahamudra and Dzogchen. Afflictions and delusions, whether good or bad, whatever manifests, do not distinguish, observe their own nature. Do not modify them, just relax there. Just as water waves dissolve into water, afflictions will manifest as great wisdom. Whatever manifests, there is no need to accept or reject, this is the supreme method of manifesting in practice. When practicing Abhisamaya, etc., recite mantras such as स्वाभाव (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), and when reciting the transformation into emptiness, contemplate emptiness where there is nothing, like the sky. If you cannot truly realize emptiness, you will fall into the obstacle of embellishing with conceptual thoughts. Do not create emptiness with conceptual thoughts, observe the essence of the emptiness of your own mind, this is the supreme method of direct realization. There are many teachings from sutras, tantras, and accomplished masters, saying that seeing all dharmas as empty, like the sky. For empty understanding, after generating certainty, you talk emptily about emptiness, just like a poor person talking about the stories of rich people, it is useless even if you listen.
