They practice and buy meat dogs. Some monks with corrupt behavior obtain Dharma and empowerment anywhere. They say they come here to ask for rewards, wanting clothes and winter supplies. Some people carry tattered, headless, and tailless Chod and mantra texts, saying they are requesting empowerment and transmission, wanting to make a living by performing rituals. Even if they perform complete empowerment and transmission, they cannot write. Even if they understand, they have no paper, ink, or pen. They say they need to copy scriptures and give them away. Some people want powerful practices that bring benefit and harm without needing to do retreats, saying they want to take responsibility. Some people, with doubtful eyes, think that practices like sky Dharma, etc., are not beneficial if done without signs of accomplishment from recitation and practice, thus developing wrong views about the Lama and Dharma. Some people spread extremely secret instructions like Dzogchen Tögal, etc., everywhere, speaking frivolously and carelessly. They make loud noises like carrying mountains and valleys, such as Powa, transmission, secret mantras, and Hikka. Some people propitiate wisdom deities and worldly gods, wanting to quickly accomplish swift protectors, etc., and show signs immediately. Some people want to request vast empowerments and transmissions during times when there are no summer or autumn retreats, or even a single village ritual. Holding grand teaching gatherings, the monks of summer and winter retreats scold and curse, saying, "Close the door, hit them!" Some people say, "These people don't believe in the Buddha. This group is a huge object of taming because they have wealth and instructions." Some people say, "Above the level of exorcism rituals, pretending to know what you don't is the real deal." Some people say, "Cham dance and masks, etc., are all nonsense, chasing after fame and fortune." Some monks start to complain, while some kind patrons are stingy, saying, "Accumulating so much wealth without doing retreats now, and offering it to those fierce spirits, is a waste." Some people say, "Accumulating so much wealth, why not build the Kangyur?" Some people guess, "There must be a lot of gold and silver inside." Like pouring water into sand cracks, whatever offerings are received must be used to buy tea and tsampa, and to manage relationships. If there are more offerings, they must be given as donations, and regular offerings of food and tea must be made to hundreds and thousands of monks, as well as monasteries, Lamas, officials, etc. Various expenses are needed, but they don't know where the money goes. Even if they request countless empowerments, they cannot keep

Protectors are extremely rare. Protectors are like ordinary people. At the time of empowerment that should not be requested, they act like important people and flaunt their power. If you say it's not right, they get very angry. Since then, they say they don't want to request empowerment. Most practitioners present their realizations. Some say they have it even when they don't. If you ask and investigate, they get angry. Some speak boastfully, lie, and deceive. They have special introductions and obstacle clearing, and profound secrets that others don't have. Even if they hear it for the first time, they haven't experienced it, but as soon as they finish learning it well, they say they knew it from before. Some people, regarding the profound secrets of secret mantras, only think about understanding it themselves, and try to obtain it through theft and deception. Some say they don't want evil mantras, and swear to others that they won't use them, but they greatly desire to practice fierce mantras. Some say that because it is for the sake of the Buddha's teachings, they must learn fierce mantras. They say that without learning them, they have no capital to speak of. Some people don't need medicine or recitations, and don't need any difficulties, but can kill demons with just their thoughts. They want a way to bring back lost wealth and various magical powers. Some people, even if they have no intention of practicing or meditating, want to receive the empowerment and transmission of all the deities and protectors that the lama practices. The horses and wealth that come involuntarily, they want to offer as the lama's property. Not allowed, they still want to collect offerings. The monastery wants donations and tea for the monks. Not allowed, they still want to support the monastery. The officials want to be great officials. Not allowed, they still want taxes. The patrons want amulets, food, and drinks. Not allowed, they still want donations. The monks want food. Not allowed, they still want to carry things. The blind and beggars want food and clothing. Not allowed, they still want to ride. The relatives want to eat together. Not allowed, they still want to accumulate. The monks want food and clothing. Not allowed, they still want to store things. The shepherds want wages and food. Not allowed, they still want masks and doors. The robbers and thieves want to rob and steal. Not allowed, they still want to kill along the way. All artisans want wages. Not allowed, they still want tools and materials. The stewards want power and transmission. Not allowed, they still want scriptures and offerings. The students want appointment tea.
