From then until now, fifty-five years, I have developed irreversible devotion to the Ugyen master. I have done much practice and cultivated the Nyingma tradition. Without any doubt, I have helped the Ugyen teachings to the best of my ability. Due to his blessings, I have mostly been able to command the gods, demons, and local deities, and I feel that they listen. In particular, on the eighth day of the Bird Month of the Rabbit Year, after waking up and drinking morning tea, I rested for a moment. In a hallucinatory vision that mixed meditation and dreams, the great protector of glorious Red Mountain (Marpori), the southern Nyenchen general Yiyi Gyalchen Rinchen, appeared in the majestic form of a great man. He wore a brand new, pure indigo-colored Tibetan robe. His hair was oiled and spread over his upper body. He had a brownish-purple complexion, a handsome face, and a large nose. Such a lifelike figure appeared before me. We spoke briefly about the Heavenly Dharma and other things. After a moment of contemplation, he respectfully prostrated three times to me, a wicked person, touching the five points to the ground. Then, like a rainbow, he disappeared. Immediately afterward, a voice resounded from the sky, saying that many people would come to pay homage. Yiyi Gyal, one of the four great Nyenchen deities, prostrating to me was inappropriate, but I thought, is he honoring the oath of Padmasambhava by acting according to the Ugyen master's command? This happened while camped at the end of Jokmen Lung (cog sman lung) in the upper forest of Sakho (sa rko), and I wrote down the wonderful experience. I wonder if there is some essential connection in this? May it be auspicious! Namo Prawakaraye! All phenomena, samsara, nirvana, the three times, All knowing and seeing, Padmasambhava, your prophecy, The long life of the Dharmadhatu Vajra body, The Lion Sky Fortress treasure, And the General Collection treasure, etc., One hundred and eight treasures, Will be revealed by the Immutable Vajra. The new and old prophecies agree, All the signs of the times are complete. Now the time has come! Not only has the time come, but it is late. The sun and moon may fall to the earth, Mount Meru may be carried away by water, The wind may be caught with a lasso, A firestorm may turn into water. If the words spoken by the Buddhas Never change, Then show the unchanging signs now! If there are no real signs, Then we have been deceived by the words of the Buddhas.
