If you think that guarding can destroy (afflictions), That is falling into the obstacle of antidote. Obstacles that do not conform to the meaning of secret mantra, Afflictions and all kinds of conceptual thoughts, Are originally great wisdom, Without realization, one wanders in samsara. On the other side of abandoning afflictions, Even if there is no function of wisdom, If you follow it, you will wander in samsara. Even if you can change your mind after abandoning, That is Hinayana, not Mahamudra and Dzogchen. Afflictions, conceptual thoughts, good and non-good, Whatever arises, look at your own nature without difference. Without making modifications, just let go there. Like a water wave dissolving into water, Afflictions appear as great wisdom. Whatever arises, there is no need to accept or reject, This is to enhance the effectiveness of meditation appearances. When meditating on Abhisamaya, etc., After reciting mantras such as " स्वाभाव (藏文) स्वभावा (梵文天城体) svabhāva (梵文罗马拟音) nature", When saying "become emptiness", Meditate on emptiness where there is nothing, Becoming like the sky. In this way, without truly realizing emptiness, It is the obstacle of falling into conceptual proliferation. Do not fabricate emptiness with conceptual thoughts, Look at the nature of your own mind's emptiness, This is to enhance the effectiveness of direct realization. Many sutras, tantras, and accomplished masters have said, Seeing that all phenomena are emptiness, It will surely be like the sky. For dry intellectual understanding, After generating conviction, utter the sound of emptiness, Like a poor person hearing the story of a rich person, It is useless even if you listen. Therefore, even if you understand a lot, Do not think that your realization is profound, Strike stones and bones on your own mind, This is to enhance the effectiveness of experience. In this way, eliminate the two faults of sinking and excitement, Do not be attached to the pleasant experiences of bliss, clarity, and non-thought, Suppress the arising of rough and scattered mind, If you do not fall into those three places of falling, If you can continuously practice, Then one day, by the power of merit and virtuous deeds, The blessings of the guru will enter your mind, The seer and the seen merge into one, This meditation has no point of attachment, Cease the clinging of "this is, this is not", The good experiences of bliss, clarity, and non-thought, The thoughts like "good, good" fall off like husks, Has my meditation lost something? This meditation has no point of attachment, No meditation, is it "Amade"? This one without this and that, Is it a wrong path? Thinking like this, not trusting yourself, Ordinary awareness appears nakedly, Seeing the nature of your own mind, This is the beginning of Mahamudra, When to remember?
