In the past, the Brahmin's daughter, Radiant Light, passed away, her mother, adorned with wisdom, entrusted with food, today I offer to the relatives of sons and nephews. In the past, Prince Joyful fell into hell, his friend named Accomplishing Meaning of Victory, like pacifying suffering by offering food and drink. By offering food to relatives born of father, uncle, and maternal grandmother, may all suffering be pacified and endowed with happiness. In the past, the leader was born as a preta, like the king granting food and thus being liberated. To those who are hungry and thirsty, such as father, uncle, and maternal grandmother, by offering food and drink, may hunger and thirst be pacified, and may they always enjoy inexhaustible food. In the past, Prince Virtuous Sight passed away, his sister, Blissful Woman, offered wine, like pacifying the suffering of heat and cold and attaining happiness. By offering this lamp to the relatives of the father, may you all be endowed with the eye of wisdom. Light of Bliss passed away, due to attachment to wealth, he was born in the realm of pretas, poor and destitute, Brahma with common poured offering and possessed enjoyment. Similarly, to the relatives of uncle and maternal grandmother, I offer yaks, sheep, goats, and many crystal ornaments, as a collection of wealth, blessing and offering. When the merchant wandered in the island of Rakshasas, like the excellent horse Balaha welcomed him. I offer the form of a horse and the emanation of an excellent horse. Like being born as gods in the Thirty-Three Heavens, offer tiger banners to the paternal lineages. Please accept this so that the undying teachings may flourish.
