By the blessings, the power of vidyā mantras and secret mantras, the truth of gods and sages, and the blessings of the power and truth of mantras and mudras, may this torma of offering become a dwelling and continent of nāgas. May it become lush, may it become a garden, may it become a pavilion of jewels. May the nāgas be free from the fear of gravel, may they be free from the fear of fire sparks, may they be free from the fear of rotting flesh, may they be free from the fear of hot sand iron, may the nāgas be free from the four fears, may they have the protection of nāgas, may they have the dwelling of nāgas, may the nāgas be free from the lame, the paralyzed, the epileptic, and the leprous, may the nāgas be free from those diseases. The medicine for all nāgas, Nāgapu (Tibetan), Nāga Gesar (Tibetan), Nutmeg (Tibetan), Sea foam (Tibetan), Nine-eyed stone (Tibetan), Elephant trunk (Tibetan), Crocodile claw (Tibetan), Cat's eye (Tibetan), Brown sugar, honey, rock candy, dates, grapes, yogurt, milk, five kinds of jewels, and five kinds of grains, etc., may a great rain of medicine fall upon all sick nāgas. May the nāgas receive food when hungry, wealth when poor, and sons when ignorant, may they be endowed with vast and abundant merit and prosperity. Furthermore, may they appear before the king's eyes, may they possess the crest of a serpent's head, may they have power over the flow of rain, may the fear of famine not arise, may the fear of solar eclipses, gravel, and floods not arise, may they be liberated from the fear of the noble Great Power, Hayagriva, and Garuda. By offering this torma blessed as various nāga medicines, may the nāgas' swelling, dried blood, blindness, deafness, difficulty in breathing, lung disease, heart disease, unclear mind, joint injuries, paralysis, severed veins, dryness, contraction, damaged and decayed teeth, damaged and severed limbs, and swollen toes all be healed and purified. Thus, may the obscurations of body, speech, and mind be completely eliminated, and by remembering the four immeasurables and the ten virtues, may the cycle of rebirth and the roots of the lower realms be severed, and may the state of heaven and liberation be attained. May the nagas be completely liberated from the lower realms. May countless lotus trees grow in the dwellings of the nagas, becoming their abode and cool shade. May the nagas possess unobstructed wisdom in all that is knowable. May the nagas possess dharani and samadhi. As in the Jataka of the Naga King Drum Sound, may you nagas perfect the paramita of generosity and attain Buddhahood. Thus, after I have made this aspiration, may I also possess the five enjoyments. May I practice the ten virtues in this life, be long-lived and free from illness, have flourishing retinues and disciples, and possess power, wealth, and glory. By the power of my merit, and the power of the Tathagata's generosity, and the power of the realm of Dharma, for the benefit of all sentient beings, may all the things that are thought of in the mind be fulfilled as desired, and may they arise without obstruction.
