In the palace shrouded in darkness, Frogs make the sound of horses. Lizards make the sound of female yaks. Mists sway like yaks. Great snakes stand like humans. The markets of arrogance gather together. Sacrificial effigy, please go there! Avert all great calamities. Just as the Han king was freed from calamity in the past, Now also let the benefactor, Including wife, master, son, and disciples, And retinue, people, and tribes, Avert all calamities and atrocities. Avert the great calamity of the flourishing of learning! Pray avert the great calamities! Liberate from unfavorable circumstances! Cut off the harm of death, increase the benefit of life! Eliminate the demon of disaster, increase enjoyment! Liberate from great calamities! With this accumulated offering of the mantra holder, Avert the trade of both gods and demons! May the evil thoughts of the gods and demons Be pacified! Thus, the path is shown. Then, according to the movement of the planets and dakini Piling, etc., avoid the direction of the year deity of oneself and the benefactor, make the effigies into the shape of a linga or clay figure, and then throw the effigies in order. Or, it can be thrown from a league outside the offering. The place where the offering is made should also be a clean place. Then, recite the invocation of the yidam and dharma protectors on the blood torma. Then, in order to prevent the essence of the offering from flowing back to oneself, empower the offering, sprinkle mustard seeds or black beans on the offering, and recite the following words: Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽)!
