The emanation of speech is inconceivable, the ocean of karma is unfathomably deep. The great Lord of Death is powerful. The messengers of Yama run and leap. In order to avert all of these, the emanation of speech roars like thunder. It extends from the realm of space to the earth. It runs within the clouds and mists. The tongue of lightning is the foot of thunderbolts. The dragon dances at the peak of existence. The dragon's tongue whips through the realm of space. The dragon's voice resounds in the realm of space. With its hand, it destroys Mount Meru from its center. With its foot, it traverses the three thousand worlds. It governs the hours and protects the four directions. It runs in the sky and protects the sun and moon. It protects the creators and destroyers of existence. It subdues all effigies and offerings. Whatever living beings there may be, for the patrons and their retinues, I pray that the emanation of speech may protect them. I pray that it may avert diseases, evil spirits, and calamities. I pray that it may avert all ferocity. By the roaring of the thunder of speech, may it send down thunderbolts and hailstones. May the net of lightning pervade all. By glaring with its eyes, may the gods faint. By dancing in space, it possesses miraculous powers. All beings, plants, and forests, it has the power to slay all enemies. May it descend as a friend to the accumulation of merit. May the accumulation of wisdom blaze in its own place. May it grasp the realization of the true meaning. It has the power to make the teachings flourish. For us yogis and our retinues, may it avert obstacles, adverse conditions, and great hindrances. In order to avert bad dreams, omens, and signs, and diseases, plagues, and famines, erect the three-headed Torma Master of Existence. Be the witness to transforming and averting. For the yogis, offerings, patrons, and retinues, I pray for the blessings of speech. Do not send the mouth-food of the fierce Tsen spirits. Do not send sickness to people. Do not send calamities to livestock. Do not send the year-demon or year-spirits. Do not send the month-demon or month-spirits. Do not send the day-demon or day-spirits.
