With the power of purification, the power of the Tathagata's generosity, and the power of the realm of Dharma, in order to make offerings to the noble ones, and to benefit all sentient beings, all the things that are thought of in the mind, may all of these, as they should be, occur without hindrance throughout all the worlds. Then, in a plate or container, place the white effigy of the son of the gods. Inside it, place the torma from the east, mustard seeds, barley, pebbles, and butter lamps. If there are not many reciters, take the required number. Sprinkle a little of various grains and mustard seeds inside it. Om Vajra Yaksha Hum. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཡཀྵ་ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra yakṣa hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Vajra, Yaksha, Hum.) Om Svabhava, etc. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་སྭ་བྷ་ཝ་སོགས།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ svabhāva, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Self-nature, etc.) May the effigy and torma become endowed with the five qualities of desirable objects. Om Ah Hum. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ āḥ hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Ah, Hum.) Homage to the Tathagata Ratnasambhava. Homage to the Tathagata Supremely Beautiful Form. Homage to the Tathagata Vast Body. Homage to the Tathagata Who is Free from All Fear. Nama Sarva Tathagata Avalokite, etc. (Tibetan: ན་མ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཨ་ཝ་ལོ་ཀི་ཏེ་སོགས།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: nama sarva tathāgata avalokite, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to all the Tathagatas who look upon.) Recite the five or seven mantras. This vast offering of the ransom torma, may it become a place of dedication and generosity, given to those of the lineage of the son of the gods who cause harm and injury to me and the one being protected. Dedicate and offer. May all the harm and obstacles, evil thoughts and actions, malice and cruelty, bad omens and ill signs of the son of the gods be pacified and transformed. Avert all bad omens and bad dreams. Do this twenty-five times. If there are not many reciters, and the torma and ransom are not enough, add new ransom and torma, or if there are none, add grains and mustard seeds and recite. It is said that one hundred is the number, and more than that is better and will not become a fault. One hundred and four is medium and concise, and in any case, it is not necessary to exceed that number. After completing twenty-five times in this way, turn it face outwards. Kye! In the past, for the sake of the god's power, the Blessed One, the Victorious Shakyamuni Buddha, placed the offering in the palm of his right hand, as a resource and merit, the devout benefactor made the offering, the four fingers subdued the four maras, with compassionate empowerment, arising from afflictions, from the suffering of the obscurations of knowledge, dispelling the gods and demons and possessing radiance, in the past, with the blessing of truth.
