If one dies being able to run a little, suppress it at the foot of the horse tether. If one dies while being able to herd horses, suppress it at the crossroads. Calculate the food offering at the place where they are suppressed. In the three months of summer, turn to the east; in the three months of autumn, turn to the south. In the three months of winter, turn to the west; in the three months of spring, turn to the north. The mantra practitioner drives a stake into the land of the food offering. Draw three corners on a stone slab with charcoal, and write the seed syllable raṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Fire) in the middle and place it in the clay pot. Stack three triangular thorns on top of the stone slab. Visualize three triangular fire pits inside the mouth of the clay pot. Draw three pieces of firewood from outside the clay pot, arranged in a triangular shape. All the arrows, bows, and tools for drawing the bow are poured into the fire pit. The place where the triangular arrow is inserted upside down is also placed in the center of the fire pit. On your left side, on the black base, arrange a hundred small lingams on the offering base.
