Now in this world, there are hungry ghosts with miraculous powers and abilities, who have become demons to the sentient beings of the three realms. Please subdue them with your omniscience." After praying in this way, the Blessed One commanded Vajrapani to subdue them. Vajrapani, in a state of extreme anger, summoned his own lineage with the mantra that attracts life. He cut off his escape route with the mantra of non-retrogression. He subdued him with the mantra that brings him into form. He tormented him, reciting "Om Vajra Pani Hum (藏文：ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་པཱ་ཎི་ཧཱུྃ།，梵文天城体：ओṃ वज्र पाणि हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ vajra pāṇi hūṃ，汉语字面意思：Om, Vajrapani, Hum)", and pressed the vajra against his heart, causing him to faint.
