All the four hundred and four diseases of us yogis and our retinue, which are of the nature of disease, arising from wind, arising from bile, arising from phlegm, and arising from a combination, may they all be pacified and averted. All the harm of the eighty-four thousand demons, which are of the nature of demons, the celestial demons, the naga demons, the yaksha demons, the asura demons, the king demons, and so forth, may they all be pacified and averted. All great downfalls, fears, bad dreams, bad omens, bad signs, and inauspicious evil aspects, may they all be eliminated, transformed, and averted. Furthermore, by the power and strength of me, the yogi, who will help from the front, who will protect from behind, may my wishes be accomplished, may my wishes be fulfilled. After doing this, the Dudsolma and her retinue say, "How should we do that?" Thinking in this way, supplicate. Bhyo! From the charnel ground of the Joyful Grove, of the past, future, and present, those who have been installed to protect the teachings.

Praise to the Smoke-Dark Goddess and her retinue. Oṃ ruru roru batosi ka mala rakasi hūṃ bhyaḥ! Expel enemies and obstructors, māraya hūṃ phaṭ! Pour this into the torma. Then, the person making the offering binds the hands of the offering attendant into fists, bends the two index fingers, and places them on the right side of the mouth. Oṃ bhe bheda li bheda li tsa. Recite this mantra seven times, visualizing it as the face-washing water of the yidam, and sprinkle alcohol. Bhyaḥ! Lady of the charnel ground, face of accomplishment, fierce and terrifying ghoul, oath-bound protector, blood-loving mother, sound of the kīla resounding, already subdued. In the center of the charnel ground, the grove of corpses, together with the assembly and messengers, I honor the fierce Smoke-Dark Mother. Please accept, oath-bound deity. Please abide from place to place. Whatever I desire in my heart, please accomplish it. Whatever work I do, please be a friend to all of it. Oṃ hūṃ śrī ya devi kāli kāli mahā kāli hūṃ bhyaḥ! Gri pha gi tsa pa ya sarva duṣṭaṃ bag bag phra phruṃ phra saṃ phaṭ svāhā. After reciting, strike the cymbals three times. When arranging the torma again, recite Devi Kali. If there are many people, one group recites Devi Kali, one group chants the long praise, and one group recites the hundred-syllable mantra. If there are few people, recite a long praise at intervals of seven or ten. Oṃ Glorious goddess, invincible lord of the three realms. From this point on, quickly accomplish the work of protecting the teachings. Oṃ ruru roru bheti tava tosi ka mala rakasi hūṃ bhyaḥ! Expel enemies and obstructors, māraya phaṭ! If you want to elaborate, take out the offerings from the goddess's torma. If you want to take out the hanging objects of the curse wood, the disease basket, the cards, etc., and the six-colored hanging objects, put them in the torma. You can also add collecting disease clouds and throwing dice. If there is a patient, you can also add hanging objects for collecting disease clouds. In this way, complete one hundred and eight times. If you do it for many days, do it in groups. In between sessions, bring the small torma back and forth, and offer these short praises and requests in turn. Bhyaḥ! Glorious goddess, powerful mother of the desire realm, please accept this adorned torma that has come here. Please accept this torma of red flesh and blood. Please accept this food of Jambudvipa. Please accept this torma of the essence of medicine and alcohol. Thank you for the work previously entrusted.
