By the power of truth of Mahakala Bernakcan, along with his consort, siblings, servants, and retinue, in general, to destroy the Buddha's teachings, to denigrate the dignity of the Three Jewels, to curse the body of the lama, to cut the lineage of the vidyadharas, to destroy the sangha, to destroy the solitary sacred mountain, to engage in the five heinous crimes, to be arrogant towards the ten non-virtuous actions, and especially towards the teachings of the glorious Karmapa and all those who hold the teachings and lineage, to provoke, to compete, to seek quarrels, to seize advantages, to grind down former enemies with their hands, to contemplate later enemies in their minds, to draw into this fierce red torma, without any freedom, the life force, consciousness, and awareness of the enemies who are now directly set up, including those who cast curses and send heat, wherever they may dwell in the three realms! Arise, Great Mahakala! Arise, Yogeshvara! In the command wheel of you, consort and siblings, there are billions of flesh-eating, blood-drinking beings. Especially the eight life-cutting butchers, the ten protectors who guard the directions, the seventy-two lords of arrogance, especially the three swift, quick, and powerful ones, the seven mothers, the four sisters, the nine burning mothers, and the four goddesses who appear on time, the four great warrior queens, including the twenty-eight Ishvaris and the steadfast earth goddess. Furthermore, hosts of emanations and further emanations, hosts of black birds and hosts of black dogs, hosts of wild beasts, garudas, and fierce beings. Whatever fills the sky, earth, and space, with terrifying and dreadful roars, raining down unbearable showers of weapons. Come here, enjoy the torma of command! Today, the great glorious ones have gathered in commitment. Shouldn't you protect this precious Sugata's teaching? Shouldn't you destroy those who break their vows and hold wrong views? Shouldn't you protect the practitioners who practice according to the Dharma? Shouldn't you take this vow substance, the red torma? In the past, before the great glorious one, don't you remember the vows you made?

Do you not respect the Vidyadhara's teachings, such as Padma Thötreng? Do you not abide by the command and oath of the root lineage's gurus? Now, yogis like us, have you not heard our supplication of suffering? Hūṃ. Do not be negligent, do not be negligent, great deity! Do not be negligent, do not be negligent, glorious one! Do not be negligent, do not be negligent, assembly of attendants! When we supplicate with shaking, may your eyes not be dim! When we call, may your ears not be deaf! When we serve, may the distance not be far! When we urge, may your power not be small! When we speak, may your ability not be weak! Now is the time of the five degenerations, when black deeds are flourishing. The Buddha's teachings are on the verge of destruction, and the glory of the Three Jewels is reaching its lowest point. Those who break vows and hold wrong views are creating the seeds of the three lower realms. Can the Black Brother and Sister tolerate this with loving hearts? Urge, urge, urge with wrath! Arise, arise, arise with ferocity! Run, run, run swiftly! Do, do, do the work! Seize from the heart with a burning iron hook, bind tightly with the demon's noose, seal the five places with burning iron chains, intoxicate with the sound of the great bell. Hūṃ. In the protective burning iron chamber, the tip of the wrathful great kīla, a rain of fierce, deadly poison, the enemy of the fallen, Māraya, a sharp sword for cutting, hammers and pestles for striking, arrows and spears for piercing, the hateful enemy, Māraya. Hūṃ. Brother and sister, servants, retinue, etc., the hateful enemy, the degenerate one, upon the five senses, kharaṃ kha hi!
