Gonpo Avalokiteshvara is the lord of compassion. I praise and respectfully prostrate to you, the supreme black deity. And: The Dharani of the Glorious Gonpo, which subdues the arrogant yakshas, in the praise of the main retinue riding the black horse, in the praise of Gonpo: Gonpo Avalokiteshvara is the lord of compassion. Possessing qualities like waves, the refuge of all the worlds. Furthermore, the great accomplished Karma Pakshi said, "Do you know or not that the glorious Lord Black Cloak and the Karma Pas who are completely renowned by name are inseparable?" Furthermore, in the Gyü of the Manifestation of the Lord composed by Zhamar Khachö Wangpo, it also says, "All the lamas, the victorious ones, I prostrate to you, the great terrifying one! Emanations are emanated in all ways, therefore I always rely on you!" Therefore, the essence of this Lord is the actual noble Avalokiteśvara. Secondly, regarding the divisions: Generally, this Lord is called the "One with the Curved Knife." There are three categories of those with curved knives without a cloak, and three categories of those with a black cloak, which need to be determined as six categories. This was said by Tsurphu Jamyang Chenpo. The Wisdom Lord Lekden Black Cloak, the Activity Lord Son Supreme Black Cloak, and the Worldly Lord Black Cloak are the three. The Worldly Lord Black Cloak is: The one with splendor, the black demon with a garland of heads, riding a black horse with white hooves, one face and two hands, the left holding a skull cup of blood, the right holding a curved knife spear banner or a wooden staff, actually Jamyang Chenpo considers it to be Trakshad. Similarly, Lekden and the curved knife and Trakshad, the tiger rider, are the same in essential meaning, which is clear in the tantras. In the Tantra of the Wheel of the Essence of Meaning, it says: "The one called Black Lord, is the lord of all yogis. The essence is the emanation of wisdom, is the wisdom body, the great Vajra. From that emanates the glorious one, is the holy protector of the Dharma. From the prophecy of the Vajra Essence, this teaching will manifest enlightenment. Sending the messengers of activity, the terrifying retinue such as the demon king, is called the Lord of Activity." As it is said, the Lord of Activity and the Worldly Lord, the demon king Trakshad, are also emanations of that Wisdom Lord. In the Lord's Dharani, Subduing the Fierce Yakshas, in the praise of Trakshad, it says: "The Lord Avalokiteśvara, is the Lord of Compassion." As it is said, in the Tantra Garland of Flames, it says: "The mount is a hero riding a tiger." As it is said, the tiger rider Lekden is the same. And also in the Tantra of the Wheel of Life:
