Thinking of dissolving into the Samaya being, Hūṃ! Blood, poisons, and amrita. In the well-adorned palace, on the lotus, sun, and vast field seat, I request you to dwell comfortably with your retinue. Hūṃ! The Vajra Seat in the center of India, is an unchanging and eternally stable place, a place where Buddhas of the three times appear. To the east of the Vajra Seat, is the great monastery of Nālandā, where the Wisdom Protector with the Raven Face is enthroned as a protector of the Dharma. He is an emanation of the Blood-Drinking King, taking a terrifying form to protect the teachings. Mahākāla, the Great Black One, possesses great power and strength, surrounded by a retinue of the eight classes of gods and demons. He subdues all three realms without exception, crushing all the demonic forces that hate the Buddha's teachings, and pulverizing all enemies and obstacles. I prostrate and praise the one who subdues the demonic enemies. Hūṃ! Wisdom Protector with your retinue, remember your former vows, do not break the command of Vajradhara, do not break the command of the glorious Palchen Heruka, do not violate the vows of the yogi. If you transgress the vows, all the Buddhas of the three times, with their supreme vajra-flaming minds, will undoubtedly destroy you and your retinue. Oṃ mahākāla kavuvava paśaya samaya tiṣṭha lhan. Oṃ mahākāla ati pūho praticcha ho. Oṃ mahākāla samaya hana hana hūṃ phaṭ. Again, light radiates from the Hūṃ in your heart, inviting the five families of empowerment deities. Through the empowerment of all the Tathāgatas, the impurities of body, speech, and mind are purified.
