Recognizing self-manifestation. Recognizing that illusion is one's own mind allows one to transfer to the Sambhogakaya pure land. Furthermore, even if one can grasp dreams or slightly grasp the thought of meditation, one can continue good karma and, through a rebirth with special merit, ultimately be liberated from the unborn. Thus it is said. The Kagyu school's saying of "grasping with dreams" has the same meaning. The Peerless Dagpo said that even if one does not grasp dreams, one can continue good karma and, through a rebirth with special merit, ultimately be liberated from the unborn. Thus it is said. The Kagyu school's saying of "grasping with dreams" has the same meaning. The Peerless Dagpo said that even if one does not grasp dreams, one can still grasp in the bardo. Dreams will become seven times less clear than now. It is also said that the bardo will become seven times clearer than now. If one can continuously grasp dreams, there is no need for inspiration; one can grasp the clear light through one's own power. If one deeply engages during inspiration, even without grasping dreams, one can grasp the clear light. If one occasionally grasps dreams, one can grasp the clear light with just one hint of inspiration. If one has good practice but does not grasp dreams, one can grasp the clear light at the time of death. I think it is reasonable that the difference lies in grasping during the long existence of the bardo, driven by suffering and fear. Moreover, the current terma texts speak of forty kharas of Marsham. Although the signs of the times show that thirty kharas have reached their peak and the signs are complete, if we follow the general view and consider it to be fifty kharas, then one might live to sixty years old. Thirty are interrupted by sleep, so sleep yoga is very important. Orgyen Rinpoche said, "In the last of the future five hundred years, monks will be shrouded in darkness like ignorance, and even if they abandon twelve days of virtuous deeds and sleep, they will not know that it is permissible." Because it is now a time of very serious ignorance, sleep yoga is very important. The great accomplished one, The Tailor Pari said, "With such instructions, even during meal times, the time for sleep is more important than the time for meditation. If the time for sleep is short, the time for meditation will also become short." Just as it is said, one can attain enlightenment by relying solely on this. Just like the great accomplished one Lawapa, who lay down and slept for twelve years, practicing the clear light, and attained supreme accomplishment. So, how should one lie down?

It speaks of the yoga of rising from sleep. At night, sleep in the state of emptiness and luminosity, and in the morning, rise instantly as the form of Great Compassion. At night, sleep in the melting bliss bindu, and in the morning, from the sky, the four mothers awaken with vajra songs, visualizing the bindu transforming into the syllable GHI (Tibetan: གྷི, Sanskrit Devanagari: घि, Sanskrit Romanization: ghi, Chinese literal meaning: Ghi), and from this, rise thinking that it has transformed into the form of Great Compassion. Shantipa said, "The four goddesses awaken with songs, and after falling asleep again, one should rise. After rising, do everything as before." Orgyen Rinpoche also said, "The dakinis say, 'Alas, alas, son of a fortunate lineage! Do not be controlled by the power of ignorance and delusion, generate the courage of diligence, and rise up now!'" and so on, speaking of the method of rising. In Chakrasamvara Nyengyud and others, one should think of being awakened by the sound of the dakini's damaru. It is said that the precious tradition of the Kagyu lineage considers it a good practice to remain in the state of luminosity during sleep, and upon awakening, to immediately and uninterruptedly enter into the practice of Mahamudra. Here, the esteemed Sakya and Nyingma schools, etc., if it is a householder vajra holder of the common tantric tradition of "subsequent yoga," then the method of relying on karma mudra is taught, and for ordained individuals, relying on the mind-wisdom mudra, etc., is explained, but since this precious practice lineage primarily emphasizes the bodily conduct of individual liberation, it will not be elaborated upon here. Then, the clothes and ornaments, such as upper garments, lower skirts, bracelets, etc., are visualized as the ornaments and clothes of Great Compassion, and blessed. Recite Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om), Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Ah), Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) three times, or in detail, for new items, perform incense, purification, and fumigation, and from the state of emptiness, bless them as the clothes of the deities, etc. Recite Om Vajra Vas Ah Hum (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཝས་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra vas āḥ hūṃ), visualize offering to one's own deity and wear them. The Great Compassion Heart Essence Collection Tantra says, "Thinking of gradually benefiting beings, arrange clothes and rise gradually. As it is said, now rise in the morning, thinking of benefiting beings all at once, rise all at once with dharma. As it is said, gradually or instantly manifest as a deity, rise to liberate beings. As it is said, if rising for the sake of others, do so. Furthermore, in the unobstructed arising of the Dharmakaya, effortlessly transform the ability to benefit beings. View
