Since it has been entrusted to all the Buddhas, whoever it may be, if you see or hear enemies or others practicing the Dharma, then if someone helps them to fulfill their wishes, you should rejoice and be happy from the bottom of your heart. In this way, you will gain merit together, and your own merit will increase inexhaustibly. If you are jealous of and obstruct the pure merit and virtue of enemies or other sects, that is the work of a demon. If you do the work of a demon, then being born as a demon is a natural law. Because the wrong path is very large, it is very important to generate fear of this. If you do not have the strength to obstruct, do not be unhappy with jealousy. The Tantra of the Self-Arisen Wheel of Bliss says: "Those who obstruct others' good thoughts and deeds are demons; otherwise, if they are stingy, they will fall into the gate of demons and wander in samsara." Also, if wrathful deities such as Hayagriva take anger as their own nature and subdue enemies and obstacles, or if they take desire as their nature and engage in impure conduct, and arrogantly think, "I am the wrathful deity Hayagriva," then they will go astray into the Rakshasa path. The Sutra says: "Because the Tathagata Buddha recites, like the magical power of entrusting, whoever seizes me there, is a Rakshasa Vidyadhara of karma." And the Self-Arisen Wheel of Bliss says: "Abandoning equality, in one's own continuum, the path of indulging in attachment and aversion, because the five poisons are misused in one's own continuum, one falls into the gate of Rakshasas and wanders constantly." Also, if you do not know the correct path yourself, and therefore guide faithful people, if that diligent person has a premonition of conceptualization, and obstacles and faults occur, because you do not know how to remedy them, that disciple is ruined or his view falls into nihilism, and thus he acts recklessly, and also leads others to that path. If you yourself have not realized the true meaning of the correct view, or only a general idea, and you regard a wrong view as supreme, and proclaim, "This is supreme, and all others are wrong," and lead many sentient beings into it, then you will go astray into the Rudra path. The origin and all the details of this are recorded in the Sutra of Punishing Those Who Violate the Precepts. This wrong path, now in Tibet, each sect accuses the other of faults, but because there are reliable words of the Buddha as evidence, for those who violate the precepts,
