Furthermore, since it originates from numerous ritual procedures, it is evident that it is a compilation. Its meaning is also as stated in the "Great Compassionate Non-Regression Dharani," where Avalokiteshvara himself declared that, first, after self-narration, one should make the great aspiration as follows: Venerable Avalokiteshvara, compassionate lord, I prostrate to you! I will certainly save all sentient beings. Thus, it is declared that fifteen great aspirations should be made. Also, as stated in the "Condensed Collection of Benefits of the Great Compassion Mantra": May I quickly liberate all sentient beings! Thus, it is declared that sixteen great aspirations should be made, and all these meanings are contained in this dedication and aspiration prayer. Furthermore, in the "Great Compassionate Very Secret Unsurpassed," it says to dedicate the root of virtue, and in the "Self-Arisen Nine Deities," it says: The root of virtue should be dedicated for the benefit of all sentient beings. And, In the ritual performed by the Lord Tathagata in China, it says: May all sentient beings, represented by this, with all accumulations of merit, make pure aspirations for the sake of all sentient beings attaining unsurpassed enlightenment. And, in the ritual performed by Sonam Senge: Finally, perform extensive dedication and aspiration. And, in the "Notes Beautiful Garland," it also says to dedicate virtue. These are all their meanings. Furthermore, in the "Ocean of Victors" composed by Dasha Vara Kumara Ketu, it also says: Thereafter, the root of virtue should be dedicated to enable all sentient beings to attain the state of unsurpassed enlightenment. In the "Five Deity Verses" given by Je Konchok Bang to the treasure revealer Shipo Lingpa, it says: In the mandala of the Dharmadhatu Bodhicitta, etc., make dedication and aspiration prayers. Thus, at the beginning of the session, taking refuge as the foundation, motivated by Bodhicitta, the main practice is to cultivate the generation stage recitation, the completion stage emptiness inseparable union, and then at the end of the session, seal it with pure dedication and aspiration prayers. It should be known that this is the unmistaken near path to enlightenment. Up to this point, in order to have faith in the order of the text itself, the sources have been cited, the easy to understand have not been mentioned, the slightly difficult to understand have been explained in detail, and finally completed.

Who said that? Because I was worried that it would be difficult to understand if these were mixed with the chapter divisions, I have written the chapter divisions separately here. Moreover, the detailed chapter divisions are cumbersome in writing and have little necessity, so I will put them aside for the time being and briefly explain. This ritual of Gyalwa Gyatso (རྒྱལ་བ་རྒྱ་མཚོ།) composed by Je Dhondup Zhap (དོན་ལྡན་ཞབས་), firstly, is the virtue of prostration and vowing to compose, which is one. In the middle is the virtue of the meaning of the text, which is two. Finally, the virtue of diligence is completed and the virtue is dedicated, which is three. The meaning of the text has four parts: self-generation, front-generation, vase empowerment, etc. The rough chapter divisions of each are clear in the text itself. Here, the chapter division of self-generation will be explained. If we speak as Je Rangjung Dorje (རྗེ་རང་བྱུང་བ།) said, there are three parts: preliminary, main, and subsequent. The first part has four points: first, what to do at the beginning; second, refuge and bodhicitta; third, purification of body and speech and protection wheel; fourth, clearly visualizing the field of merit and accumulating the two accumulations. The main part has two parts: generation stage and completion stage. The first part has seven points: first, purifying the Buddha field; second, generating the supporting palace; third, generating the supported deity; fourth, blessing body, speech, and mind; fifth, invoking the wheel of wisdom; sixth, empowerment; seventh, recitation. Recitation also has two types: expansive and contractive recitation, and vajra recitation. The first has four points: gathering blessings, recitation of the four activities, great bliss, and stopping recitation. The second has the actual vajra recitation and the secret instruction of mixing. The completion stage has two types: profound and not profound. The third general meaning, the subsequent activity, has two parts: rising from the union body and dedicating the root of virtue, and the activity of offering torma and concluding the session. Then, if we explain the connection of the chapter divisions here as stated in the great tantra classes, as stated in the Vajra Peak: "First, with the samadhi of joining, the yogi enters samadhi. That is the supreme king of the mandala, and then also the king of karma." It is also said in the Sambhatra Tantra (སཾ་བྷ་ཏྲི་). Therefore, the connection of the three samadhis is: the preliminary practice is before accumulating merit, from generating the palace to generating the main deity is the initial joining, from expanding the retinue to consolidating, and enjoying nectar, offering praises, etc., is the mandala.
