Now, the five poisons of attachment, hatred, delusion, pride, and jealousy arise from this source. They abide here, and the manner, form, color, and appearance of their movement here are like this. Transcending all terms and so forth, because they abide in the nature of pure wisdom, inseparable like water and milk mixed together, therefore, without abandoning afflictions, they are purified in their own place. Without abandoning their own nature, whatever arises from their own essence, without fabrication, naturally, spontaneously, let it be released and placed in its natural state. The scattering of afflicted thoughts dissolves into wisdom and becomes pure. The experience and realization of the single taste of Dharma-nature will naturally and spontaneously grow in the mindstream. It is said. The abiding mode of the ground nature, its essence, is empty and selfless from the very beginning, which is the Dharmakaya. From its state, the unobstructed play of various appearances is clear without obscuration. Whatever appears is the Sambhogakaya. From the state of emptiness, it is clear. From the state of clarity, the various scatterings and movements are the Nirmanakaya. Thus, the three kayas are also naturally clear. Since there is no movement from the ground nature, the many are decisively cut off into one taste. Do not follow after coarse thoughts, but let them be released naturally. Do not deliberately prevent. Do not deliberately cultivate. Since there is no prevention or cultivation, by releasing and placing, from one moment, nakedly self-liberated, the lama arises from within. It is enough to be alone without the demons of joy and sorrow entering into it. It is Dharma-nature that it matures and its power increases. It is said. Also, from the Great Compassion Heart Essence Union Tantra, it says: "Carry the self-liberation of memory and thought in your heart." And its meaning, Orgyen Rinpoche said: "Whatever thoughts of the past, future, and present are remembered, the object of memory and the one who remembers are self-liberated. To counter memory is emptiness, because it is liberated without self-nature, it is the Sugata's heart, it is the practice of the Dharma-nature, the mind of emptiness of memory." Also, the tantra says: "Appearances, sounds, and collections of thoughts are definitely self-liberated." Therefore, in uninterrupted self-arising, it is certain to go to uninterrupted self-pacification. It is said. Similarly, from the Great Compassion Secret Union Tantra, it says: "The meaning of the tantra is the sole nature, without error or fabrication is the Dharmakaya, possessing twofold purity is the Sambhogakaya, uninterrupted compassion is the Nirmanakaya, the essence is without birth or death, separate from abiding, uncompounded and from the very beginning, naturally complete in itself."

It exists. Without beginning or end, so there is no coming and going. Without birth, so there is no cessation. It is naturally self-liberated from the beginning. For that which is without limitation and partiality, it is said. Unfabricated dharmas are pure from the beginning, the four extremes of defilement are naturally clear. Primordial purity, the unobstructed Dharmakāya, merges saṃsāra and nirvāṇa into one. Thus it is said. Similarly, from the intent of Great Compassion, in the Tantra of Liberating All Beings, it says: Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ,Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ,Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ)! The two truths are the true self-mind, unborn, un abiding, and not going, not swayed by saṃsāra and nirvāṇa. With this meaning, beyond thought, in the intent, everything exists and everything does not exist. Unchanging and inexpressible, destroying the tenets of one and separation. It is the essence of all dharmas. Thus it is said. Cultivate vipassanā in the state of śamatha, recognize the state of śamatha, and subdue the conceptualizations of the six objects. Thus it is said. When constantly relaxing and relaxing, it is free from the three extremes of arising, ceasing, and abiding. It shows the mindfulness without distraction. Thus it is said. These are the scriptural citations from the tantra texts of this Dharma. Next, a few citations from the general sūtras and tantras will be quoted. In the thirty-third chapter, it says: All of the three realms are made from mind, but that mind itself cannot be constantly pointed out. The path of the formless cannot be pointed out, like an illusion. The wise should seek the dharmatā of the mind, and when seeking the dharmatā with the mind, the dharmatā of mind and dharma cannot be seen. With what mind does the mind seek? The mind itself also cannot see its own nature. Thus it is said. In the Samādhirāja Sūtra, it says: Young man, the essence of mind is formless and cannot be indicated. Young man, whatever the essence of mind is, so is the essence of the qualities of the Buddha. Whatever the essence of the qualities of the Buddha is, so is the essence of the Tathāgata. Whatever the essence of the Tathāgata is, so is the essence of all dharmas. Thus it is said. In the Sūtra Praising the Discursive Mind, it says: If one knows the nature of the mind, one will also know the nature of all dharmas. The mind will not be attached to the objects of appearance, and if there is no attachment, afflictions will not arise. If afflictions do not arise, one will not wander in saṃsāra.
