It is supreme and bestows wealth, possesses splendor, possesses auspicious aspects, is the meaning of vows and auspiciousness, and is the heart essence of holding jewels. Sakya Pandita said: The Indian version of O does not have a long sound, adding A is a mistake, the lama said. Thus, it is said that the three syllables of O do not have A added. Maha Pandita Sanghashri said: If there is a vertical stroke and naro, because it is a long sound, abandon adding A. Because of what was said, these nine deities are new, so the six-syllable mantra's O should not have A added. The secret mantra early translation Nyingma, is not necessarily only Sanskrit, but has corruptions and Prakrit, and Pisaci language, and the dialect of the region of Oddiyana, and the secret language of the dakinis, etc., and mantras exist in the form of a mixture of various languages.

In the Questions and Answers of the Great Compassionate One of Guhyasamaja, Orgyen Rinpoche said, "The sound of mantra, at the beginning of everything, is the letter of the body. In the future, some Tibetan scholars with little knowledge will say that 'འ' does not need to be added." In the Tantra of the Secret Bindu, it says, "Om is the three bodies and five wisdoms, O is the six perfections, O is the seven limbs of enlightenment." Therefore, A alone is the unborn Dharmakaya, Naro with the crown bindu is the Sambhogakaya, the source of merit, and 'འ' is the Nirmanakaya that guides beings. These three bodies are: the right arm, like an elephant's trunk, equally illuminates everything, is the wisdom of equality; the left arm, like an arrow and the source of Dharma, without light and darkness, is the mirror-like wisdom; Naro, like a lotus petal, is completely clear, is the wisdom of discernment. The bindu, like the moon, is the state of indivisibility of skillful means and wisdom, is the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. 'འ' is the accomplishment of all ways of guiding beings, is the wisdom of accomplishing activities. Also, the right arm is the perfection of generosity, the left arm is morality, Naro is patience, 'འ' is diligence, the moon is meditation, and the bindu is the perfection of wisdom. Also, the right arm is the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment, the left arm is meditating on impermanence, Naro is the faults of samsara, the moon is refuge, the bindu is aspiration and entering (bodhicitta), 'འ' is accumulating the two accumulations, complete perfection is dedication and aspiration. If Om does not have 'འ', it will be broken and cannot be accomplished. For example, without a means of proof, the beginning of Ye Dharma, etc., does not have Om and 'འ', but the contradiction is small." Also, Asked Guru, "Then how about Chinese characters without Om and 'འ'?" Guru said, "That is something that exists. The letter Dra of Orgyen, the letters Dhi Ri Dhu of Trotung, the letters Sam Dra Ha of Zahor, and the letters Nara Ka of Kamarupa all have 'འ'. These are produced from the thirty-three types of letters. Lantsa, Bhattu, and Dhari are the letters of Magadha, and these letters also have 'འ' attached. However, these Chinese characters are recited from within, but they do not actually exist."
