Regarding the three, increase, power, and wrath, Jiarong (Tibetan: བྱ་རུང་) believes that they should never be manifested or used. The teachings of Hevajra and the Sakya school believe that common activities are accomplished by beginners, because they attain common siddhis in a miraculous way, so it is for the sake of generating joy and striving to practice the supreme accomplishment. As it is said, "If you seek the benefit of the next life, this life will be achieved without effort." Just like the precious Kagyu, only the supreme accomplishment is practiced, and common accomplishments arise naturally. Just as when the rice harvest is good, the straw arises naturally, so only the supreme accomplishment is practiced. Acting accordingly, Vajravarahi has countless activities and commentaries on the hundred thousand verses, so only the supreme accomplishment of Vajra Dakini is focused on, and not many activities are mentioned. Similarly, the Naro Chödrak etc. only speak of the supreme accomplishment, and do not clearly explain the practice of common accomplishments. Some later Tibetan scholars say that for those who need a very long time to attain Buddhahood, do not use many activities, but only practice the supreme accomplishment; for those who do not need so long to attain Buddhahood, practice various activities. The Nyingma school believes that if the number of recitations and practices is not completed, practicing activities will delay the supreme accomplishment and be the cause of gods and demons invading, so it is not allowed. After completing the number of recitations and practices, thinking like illusions and dreams, motivated by bodhicitta, in action, using various activities as needed, and then dedicating to bodhi, such increase is the view of the tantra. Because it does not hinder the supreme accomplishment, common accomplishments are immediately obtained as desired. Therefore, all the practices of the Nyingma school are rich in activities. Among them, there are the best of the best and the middle, the worst and the worst of the worst. The best is accomplished through wind and samadhi. The best of the middle is accomplished by mere recitation. The middle is accomplished through meditation, recitation, and medicine. The worst is accomplished through medicine, mantra, visualization, fire puja, and blood. The worst of the worst requires visualization, mantra, medicine, action, trulkhor, i.e., wheel, fire puja, torma, etc., all complete to be accomplished. Thus, if the supreme accomplishment is not achieved in this life, the common accomplishments of the best, middle, and worst can be achieved, and the best at the time of death

As previously stated, in the state of the completion stage "Bhé" from the periphery to the center, by dying, the ground luminosity and the luminosity of the path of meditation merge inseparably, thereby attaining Buddhahood as the Dharmakāya in the luminosity of death. The Kālacakra says, "In the luminosity, one constantly abides; the city of the bardo is not seen by that one." Thus it is said. If one is very familiar with luminosity, but does not grasp the luminosity at the time of death, then immediately after the separation of body and mind, one is liberated by grasping the second luminosity that arises. The Ngamdzong Ear-whispered Lineage says, "With the thought that the body is the deity and the guru is on the crown of the head, take a body like an illusion and think of benefiting sentient beings, or think of arising in the state of luminosity as a body of union, and send forth remembrance beforehand. In order to arise from the body of the deity, meditate on the luminosity that appears but has no inherent existence, and like clouds arising in the sky, one will be born wherever one wishes." Thus it is said, from that state of luminosity, one arises as a body of union, and performs the activities of benefiting beings, or is born in that pure land to which one has previously made aspirations and directed one's rebirth, such as Sukhāvatī. For example, just as the eye of a peacock does not come from anywhere in the sky, in that very instant, the appearance of where one is born will arise, and there is no necessity to have the desire to go anywhere. If one is not very familiar with luminosity, then one should perform the transference of consciousness into the Sambhogakāya, just as the secret instructions for the transference of consciousness of Mahākaruṇā Avalokiteśvara Gyalwa Gyatso arise separately. If the transference of consciousness is successful, the bardo will not appear, and if it is not successful, one should practice the bardo in the way that one practices the generation stage now, because there is no body of flesh and blood, so at that time the mind-made body becomes the body of the deity. In that state, one attains Buddhahood in the clear and empty, complete enjoyment Sambhogakāya through the luminosity "Bhé". Furthermore, how the body of that deity changes, displays various miraculous powers, guides sentient beings in the bardo, travels to the Buddhafields, listens to the Dharma, etc., is called the Mahāmudrā Vidyādhara, for the purpose of actually accomplishing the Mahāmudrā of the deity's body. If one is not liberated in the Sambhogakāya even in the second bardo, then now, through the power of aspiration and the blessings of the accomplishment of Mahākaruṇā, one goes to the Sukhāvatī pure land like a king of swans, and there one is born miraculously in a lotus.
