Venerable one, you yourself, with the knowledge of mantra, consecrate the crown of the head. As it is said and so on, all the bases of holding the aggregates, elements, etc., as ordinary are meditated upon as deities, then they grow as deities, and are the deities of the pure nature of conventional reality. Then, the ordinary aggregates, elements, and sense bases, the grasping and the grasped, all the parts of conventional reality, are purified by the nature of the essence of the deity, and are the basis for transforming into a deity. This, being grasped as ordinary, is the basis that needs to be purified, that is, the basis of purification. The meaning of this is from the Root Tantra of Guhyasamaja: In short, the five aggregates are, widely known as the five Buddhas. The Vajra birthplaces are also, the supreme mandala of the Bodhisattvas. Earth is said to be called Eye. The water element is Mamaki. White-clad Mother and Tara are, widely known as fire and wind. With praises of form, sound, etc., always be the deity Bhe (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning). Also, the meaning of this is from Profound Inner Meaning: The five aggregates are the five Buddhas, the four elements with families are the five goddesses. As it is said and so on. In the King of Tantras, Padma Zabpa, it is said: This is Bhe (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) to one's own aggregates. Thus it was decreed. Especially the lord of the five aggregates. As it is shown, it was decreed to Avalokiteshvara. In the Tantra of the Lotus King, it is said: Knowing the distinctions of the five aggregates, in the fruit of the five Buddhas, the increase of the five wisdoms is firm, the body dwells in solitude. Thus it is said. Invincible Chandra says: The form element is not Vajra. And so on. In the ultimate sense, there are no aggregates. As it is said, although those aggregates do not exist in the ultimate sense, they are the basis of purification in the conventional sense. Grasping appearances as true, or grasping forms, feelings, and perceptions as permanent, grasping appearances as they are, all those who do not know the nature of the deity, are the cause of being bound in samsara. Because of being bound and clinging to each and every one of them, there are conceptual elaborations. In the common situation, clinging to reality is the afflictive obscuration, and here it is established as the cognitive obscuration, therefore it is the cognitive obscuration. And because it binds nirvana, it is called poison. And because it elaborates only from things, it is the elaboration of things. Because it is grasped as ordinary, it is the state of ordinariness. And the measure of impurity, although there are many names, the meaning is the bondage of things, which is to be purified, and the elaboration of objects is the basis of purification, and the elaboration of subjects is the purifier, which is not contradictory.

I, along with the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the five wisdoms, and other qualities of the Dharmakaya, as well as the mandala deity assembly of the Rupakaya, such as the five families, four mothers, and five Dakinis, are all means of purification. There are two ways to purify: When a yogi's skandhas, dhatus, and ayatanas, in their ordinary state, are accumulating the wisdom accumulation, there is the emptiness that purifies the real and empty, and the clarity of mind. By remaining equally in the union of clarity and emptiness, which are inseparable, and when rising from that samadhi during the session break, without allowing ordinary appearances to arise, visualize oneself as the nature of the mandala and the deity. Visualizing this as inseparable from the appearance of conventional truth is the way to purify through meditative yoga. When rising from meditation and in the subsequent conduct, as soon as the habit of clinging to appearances as ordinary arises due to the habitual impressions of appearances, seize it with mindfulness and think, "This is the deity." By cultivating in this way, one counteracts it. This is the way to purify through post-meditation yoga. Since the basis of purification is the same for both meditation and post-meditation, the way to purify is the single method of abandoning conceptual thoughts. Furthermore, it is not the case that one should cultivate the pride of the deity in relation to the skandhas, dhatus, and ayatanas, or that one should generate pride by clinging to the meaning of "I" as truly existent when accumulating the wisdom accumulation. Rather, one should purify the defilement of clinging to reality with the view, and visualize oneself as the deity in order to abandon various ordinary conceptual thoughts on the level of mere conventional appearance. As it is said in the Hevajra Tantra: "Having made it non-toxic with purity, these stable ones are indeed stable." This indicates that the poison of self-grasping, which is universally discriminating, is purified by the view, and that the ordinary conceptual thoughts of universal discrimination are abandoned by the generation stage. Accumulating the wisdom accumulation means that the "I" in the meaning of the mantra refers to the union of clarity and emptiness that exists in all stages of the ground, path, and fruition. As it is said in the Twofold Investigation Tantra: "From me arise all beings, from me also arise the three realms, I pervade all this, I do not see the self-nature of beings." And, "Those with and without things, and the Buddhas for the sake of realizing things, and who strikes with laziness, and the ignorant, who does not know me." Thus it is proclaimed. Furthermore, one should not add the grasping of emptiness, thinking "I am," to the emptiness of self-nature purity as a basis for distinction. It is not the case that one should purify all appearances into emptiness and then think that there is nothing, but rather, empty
