As such, the precept of guarding is from the tantra. Here, if you want to elaborate, it is good to do eye medicine, mirror, arrow and bow prophecies, and praise. However, it is said that it is okay not to do it because it is not mentioned in this scripture. Then, from the tantra of offering, it is said: He also prostrates with his head in faith. If there is wealth, he should offer it to the guru. Wealth and treasures, grains and gold, and copper, riding and houses, servants and girls, whether male or female, towns and cities, as you wish, with the utmost devotion of your own mind, you should offer the best of offerings. In order to achieve quickly, offer to the guru with faith. In short, you should also offer your own body. In this way, offer the mandala. This is the way to condense and empower according to the actual teachings, that is, to abandon all the common dharmas and the verses of the Kagyupa empowerment, and to empower with a single mantra while remembering the meaning of the empowerment. So said Akshobhya Zhap. When empowering the deceased, think that the prayer, repetition, and mandala are done by the deceased. In addition, it is said that it is also okay to teach the practice of the path without empowerment. Desired qualities, Lamp of Clarity says, are desired and pursued by all sentient beings, so it is called desire. The Buddha is endowed with the virtue of being able to give extremely, so it is called virtue. It is both desire and virtue, so it is called the virtue of desire. Those five, such as form, are the objects of the five senses, and should be relied upon and constantly practiced in all enjoyments. Also, in the light of that, it is said: Because it is desirable, it is called desire, which means the word of manifesting desire for form, sound, smell, taste, and touch. That is, it becomes a virtue because it is accustomed and mixed. It is said that in all the bardo explanations of the new and old schools, it is said that if food is not offered to the bardo beings, they will be hungry, and if food is offered, they can get it, so whatever is offered can be obtained. In the short collection of history not cited by Maudgalyayana, it is said that in Jambudvipa, those who are led astray by names and abbots must stay in the bardo. The Hinayana law says that one must stay in the bardo until the end of one's life. The Mahayana law says that one does not stay for more than forty-nine days, so food is offered during that time.

If it can be obtained. It is said in the Sutra of the Noble Savior, if you want to repay the kindness of your present parents and even the parents of seven generations, then on the full moon day of the first month of autumn, fill the vessels with food that has a hundred flavors, and offer it to the Sangha of the ten directions and the Buddha, then you will obtain it. Just as the mother of Maudgalyayana was reborn as a hungry ghost, and no matter what food was given, she could not swallow it, the same method was used, and she was liberated from the hungry ghost realm and reborn as a god, and future generations should also do the same. It is recorded in the Maudgalyayana Sutra that the son of Maudgalyayana prayed: For the sake of the beings of my Jambudvipa to repay the kindness of their deceased parents, on the fifteenth day of the first month of autumn, invite the Three Jewels, offer flowers and food, and with that accumulation of merit, offer food at noon to that person, and dedicate it to the deceased parents, then all the food will be obtained. On that day, with that accumulation of merit, the Yama Kings and all the ghosts and spirits under the earth will return to their homes and dwell there. Whether they are hiding on living people, under beds, or elsewhere, they will all obtain food. The Blessed One taught: All those can be obtained, son of Maudgalyayana, may you obtain the accumulation of merit of service. Thus it was said. Formerly, during the time of King Trisong Detsen, the Bonpo funeral sacrifices and offerings were very popular, and there were no similar rituals in Buddhism, so Padmasambhava and the Panditas extracted from the sutras and tantras and created vast sacrificial rituals. Later, the rituals extracted from them were passed down in varying degrees. In short, formerly, when the Kadam Geshe, Unimaginable, passed away, the Brahma god covered him with a spotless cloth canopy, so an umbrella was drawn on paper. When Prince Stainless Fame had no cushion, the Shravaka disciples conjured up a cushion with their supernatural powers, so a lotus was drawn on a paper cushion. Formerly, when King Joyful Holding of Varanasi fell into hell, his friend Prince Meaningful Accomplishment gave him food and drink. When the daughter of a Brahmin was reborn as a hungry ghost, the son Avalokiteshvara gave her clothes and blessed them, so a silk banner was drawn on paper, or the paper was covered with silk. King Nangsal Wo passed away.
