When countless Bodhisattvas and world-protectors were seated together with him on a lotus throne, he remained in the samadhi of purifying the lower realms. Through the radiance of the treasury, the bonds of affliction of all sentient beings were loosened, and they each attained bliss, manifesting a garden of joy. At that time, Indra was amazed and inquired where the son of the gods, Immaculate Light, was born. The son of the gods spoke of the suffering of being born in Avici hell, and the gods were frightened and terrified, and requested protection. Then, relying on the root mandala of Kunrig, or relying on corpses or names, he proclaimed the method of purifying the lower realms. Indra and the other gods performed the ritual, and Immaculate Light was liberated from Avici and was reborn in Tushita heaven, and the gods were amazed and offered special praise. That son of the gods came there to repay his kindness, made offerings, and offered special praise. Thereafter, Indra requested the benefits of the ritual, and the Blessed One declared that he was amazed, and the world-protectors pledged to protect it, which is the first constant root mandala. Then, Vajrapani prostrated to the teacher, remained in samadhi, and proclaimed the eleven mandalas of subsequent contemplation, and the gods rejoiced and praised him with a hundred names. The king who purifies the lower realms, the constant, single-pointed, nine-crested tantra, has the same introduction as above, and the benefits and so on are extensively explained. The way in which such a tantra spread in the human realm is as follows: In the later tantra of the Wheel-Collected (Chakrasamvara), it is said: 'After I disappear from here, after twenty-eight years, the essence of the teachings, known as the three abodes of the gods, in the southeastern part of Jambudvipa, on the mountain called Glorious, through the blessings of compassionate harmony, Vajrapani will grant it to the king called Dza.' As it is said, in the Zahor region of southeastern India, the king called Rabsel Dawa or Indrabodhi or Dza, after being blessed by Vajrapani, seven wondrous dream signs appeared, such as a rain of scriptures, and on the top floor of the palace, a cubit-high statue of Vajrapani naturally appeared from a purple gemstone, actually descending, and a rain of rainbows and flowers fell. At that time, the king took that statue

After receiving the initiation on the crown of his head and practicing for seven months, the tantric scriptures of Yoga Tantra and eighteen Sutras descended like rain. Although he understood the meaning after looking at them, he pretended not to know in order to prevent others from arbitrarily altering them. He invited the master Kukkuripa, who first took the scriptures and looked at them, but didn't know where to start. So he recited a secret mantra. Vajrasattva actually appeared and asked what he wanted. Kukkuripa replied, "I want to understand these just by looking at them." Vajrasattva said, "I grant you that." Then, without opening the scriptures, he understood all the meanings, saw the face of Vajrasattva, grasped the key points, and told everything to the king. The king met the actual Vajrapani from the Glorious Mountain in the south, manifested the mandala of Vajradhatu, etc., and gave the initiation. He gave the transmission of the tantras. As prophesied by Vajrasattva, the king and his retinue practiced in the mandala of Vajradhatu like a great accomplishment, and attained the state of vidyadhara. He appointed Prince Shakya Puti as regent and gave him the initiation. Kukkuripa taught the instructions and meditated, and as a result, the father king and his retinue went to Khechara. Then, Shakya Puti also attained the state of vidyadhara with seven hundred attendants. That king imparted the instructions to his youngest son, namely his daughter Goma Devi, and as a result, the daughter and hundreds of attendants attained the accomplishment of vidyadhara. They transmitted it to Nagarjuna, Lungyang, Yeshe Dorje, and Kunnying. Also, King Rabsel Da (Extremely Clear Moon) transmitted the Dharma to Drakhen Zangpo (Rahula Bhadra), Yeshe Dorje, Prajnasiddhi, and Rabjor Kyong, and the disciples of all four of them were Kunga Nyingpo (Ananda Garbha). The story of the rain of scriptures comes from the extensive commentary on the Prajnaparamita Hundred and Fifty Verses, so the source is reliable. Some say that this history is not credible, but it is also recorded in the commentary on the Buddha Samayoga Tantra. The translator Zu Ga Dor also said that he had personally seen a painting of the scene of the rain of books at Nalanda, so there is no doubt. Regarding the method of explaining that tantra: In the Praise to the Hundred Accomplished Ones, it says: White Tara blessed, made explanations on the Yoga Tantra, I prostrate to the lama named Kunga Nyingpo. And the Manjushri Root
