Appearing from the letter, Vairochana sits on a lion throne in the vajra posture, with a white body and the mudra of supreme enlightenment. Peaceful and adorned with all ornaments. At his heart, on a moon disc, around the syllable Om (藏文:ཨོྃ,梵文天城体:ओँ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), is the mantra "Om Marichi Battali Vadali Varali Varahamukhi Ah Shaya Jaja Svaha (藏文:ཨོཾ་མཱ་རཱི་ཙེ་བཏྟཱ་ལི། བ་དཱ་ལི། བ་རཱ་ལི། བཱ་རཱ་ཧ་མུ་ཁི་ཨཱཿཥ་ཡ་ཛ་ཛ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:ओँ मारिचे बत्तालि वदालि वरालि वाराहमुखि आःषय ज ज स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ mārīce battāli vadāli varāli vārāhamukhi āḥṣaya ja ja svāhā,汉语字面意思:Om, Marichi, Battali, Vadali, Varali, Varahamukhi, Ah Shaya, Jaja, Svaha)". From this, there is a complete transformation, and from it arises a branch of the Ashoka tree, marked with the syllable Am These are completely transformed, and within the stupa, from the syllable Yam (藏文:ཡཾ,梵文天城体:यं,梵文罗马拟音:yaṃ,汉语字面意思:扬) arises a wind mandala, with the syllable Tsa (藏文:ཚྭ,梵文天城体:त्स्वा,梵文罗马拟音:tswa,汉语字面意思:擦). The Rahu seizes the sun and moon, is suppressed, and in the center of the chariot drawn by seven pigs, from the syllable Tsa arises the radiant one, with three faces. The main face is yellow, the right face is red, and the left face is a blue pig face, with three eyes and eight hands. The four right hands hold a vajra, an arrow, a needle, and an iron hook. The four left hands hold a branch of the Ashoka tree, a bow, a thread, a threatening gesture, and a lasso. Adorned with various silks, wearing a red short upper garment. Sitting with the left leg extended. To the east of him is red Battali, the two right hands holding a needle and an iron hook, the two left hands holding a lasso and a branch of the Ashoka tree. To the south is yellow Vadali, the two right hands holding a needle and a vajra, the two left hands holding an Ashoka tree and a lasso. To the west is white Varali, the two right hands holding a vajra and a needle, the two left hands holding a lasso and an Ashoka tree. To the north is red Varahamukhi, the right hand holding a vajra and an arrow, the left hand holding a lasso and a bow. All four have one face, with a pig's face, three eyes, wearing animal skin, and sitting with the left leg extended. Thus, contemplate. Om, Marichi, Mam, Hum, Hum, Phet, Svaha)". Reciting this mantra is the sadhana of Marichi as described in the 'Vikalpa'. Other rituals are as described before. Vairochana is yellow. The main deity's four right hands hold a vajra, a needle, an iron hook, and an arrow. The four left hands hold a lasso, a thread, an Ashoka tree, and a bow. To the east is red Battali, the two right hands holding an iron hook and a needle, the two left hands holding a divine lasso and an Ashoka tree. To the south is yellow Vadali, holding a needle and a tree leaf. To the west is white Varali, the right hand holding a vajra and a needle, the left hand holding a lasso and a tree leaf. In this sadhana of Marichi from the 'Vikalpa', the southwest of the mandala seems to be missing, so it was corrected by Abyakara.

Copied from an old Han Chinese text. Note: For this southern golden Vadali, the hand gestures differ between the Han Chinese and Bhutanese traditions. Note: In the north, the red Varahamukhi holds a vajra and arrow in her right hand, and an ashoka tree and bow in her left hand. After contemplating this, recite: Om Maritzam Mam Svaha. Om, Marici, Mam, Svaha.) This is the sadhana of the radiant one spoken from the Tantras, composed by teacher Snyingpo Zhab. Then, from emptiness, on a moon, from the letter Mam, arises the golden radiant one. The four right hands hold a vajra, arrow, hook, and needle. The four left hands hold a lasso, bow, branch of the Ashoka tree, and thread. In the east is the red Battali, the right hand holds a hook and needle, the left hand holds a lasso and an Ashoka tree. In the south is the golden Badali, the right hand holds an Ashoka tree and needle, the left hand holds a lasso and vajra. In the west is the red Barali, the right hand holds a vajra and needle, the left hand holds a lasso and Ashoka tree. In the north is the red Varahamukhi, the right hand holds a vajra and arrow, the left hand holds an Ashoka tree and bow. After contemplating this, recite: Om Maritzam Svaha. Om, Marici, Svaha.) Reciting this, together with the previous visualization, is a condensed sadhana of the radiant one. The other generation stage rituals are as before. Then, from emptiness, from Om arises an eight-spoked wheel marked with Om. From the heart of yellow Vairochana arises Mi, from which arises an Ashoka flower marked with Am. From this arises the radiant one, the right face is white, the left face is a blue pig face. The four right hands hold a vajra, arrow, hook, and needle. The four left hands hold a lasso with a threatening gesture, a bow, Ashoka leaves, and a thread and moon. In the east is the red Battali, the right hand holds a needle and hook, the left hand holds a lasso and Ashoka tree, the right hand is extended. In the south is the golden Badali, the right hand holds an Ashoka tree and needle thread, the left hand holds a lasso and vajra, the left hand is extended. In the west is the red Barali, the right hand holds a vajra and needle, the left hand holds a lasso and Ashoka tree, the left hand is extended. In the north is the red Varahamudi, the right hand holds an arrow and vajra, the left hand holds a bow and Ashoka tree, the left hand is extended. Recite: Om Maritze Svaha. Om, Marici, Svaha.) This is the sadhana of the eight-armed golden radiant one. Then, from emptiness, light radiates from various vajras, and within the protective circle, in the center of the red triangle of the glorious Odiyana, is a great charnel ground.
