Other Bhikshus thought, 'This person does not have any qualities or appearance, how will he become the fifth Buddha?' Knowing this, the Bhagavan spoke the 'Maitreya Prophecy Sutra.' Bhikshus, this person will pass away twelve years from now, and from the precious palace of Tushita heaven, he will sit in the lotus posture on a lion throne. His body will be the color of Jambu river gold, his height will be sixteen yojanas, he will have complete marks and signs, and he will have a topknot. Even among the five-jeweled crown, there will be hundreds of thousands of millions of emanated Buddhas abiding. From the white light between his eyebrows, eighty-four thousand sons of gods adorned with marks and signs will appear, sitting on lotus seats, constantly teaching the irreversible Dharma day and night, and establishing the sons of gods on the irreversible ground. There, the arrangement of the Tushita heaven and the ways in which the gods make offerings were extensively taught. From the time that Shakyamuni Buddha passed into Nirvana, after fifty-six billion years on Jambudvipa, Jambudvipa will become more happy and prosperous than it is now. At that time, Maitreya will take birth in the Brahmin caste in Jambudvipa, become a Buddha, and be called Maitreya Buddha. At that time, those who now have a connection with the Three Jewels will be liberated in sequence from Maitreya's three assemblies. Those who now recite Maitreya's dharani and mantra will be sought by Maitreya at that time and prophesied to become Buddhas. Furthermore, if one hears the name of Maitreya and respectfully prostrates, one will be reborn in Tushita heaven as quickly as snapping one's fingers. Just hearing the name of Maitreya will prevent one from falling into a dark realm after death. One will not be born in a borderland or with wrong views, or in a place where all non-virtuous actions are practiced. In all lives, one will be upright. One will be born with a complete retinue and without slandering the Three Jewels. If someone utters Maitreya's name for even a moment, they will be liberated from the cycle of birth and death for two thousand kalpas, and their sins will be purified.

Ah! The great accomplished Tsulu Pandita and four Dakinis led and went to Shambhala by miraculous power. They requested empowerment, transmission, and instructions. They brought a small amount of tantras to India. Among the sadhanas performed by the accomplished ones, there are various Tara Mother sadhanas, and the two-armed White Manjushri from the "Namasangiti," and the Great Compassionate Avalokiteshvara Mayajala, all of which are related to the Kalachakra Tantra. Some scholars also believe that the Dharmadhatu Vagishvara is related to the Kalachakra Tantra. After receiving these empowerments, if one diligently practices the generation stage and completion stage, at best six months, moderately twelve years, and at worst one can attain Buddhahood in one lifetime. Even if one does not practice, it is said that one will attain Buddhahood within seven lifetimes. In order to request such empowerment, a mandala is offered. ༈ །། The explanation of the general empowerment of the noble Jetsun Tara is completed. Now, I am going to bestow the empowerment of the noble Jetsun Tara upon you all. Let me briefly tell you its history. The essence of this Tara is a manifestation from the left eye of Buddha Amitabha. The manifestation of the mind of Buddha Amitabha, Avalokiteshvara manifested from the aspect of luminosity and skillful means, and Tara manifested from the aspect of emptiness and wisdom. Hundreds of thousands of Indian Panditas praised in unison: Buddha Amitabha, you manifested for the benefit of beings, your name is Tara, I prostrate to you, the compassionate one! Thus manifested twenty-one Taras. As for how they were born: Noble Avalokiteshvara made a great vow to liberate all sentient beings without exception. After benefiting all sentient beings for countless kalpas, he wondered what the situation was now. When he looked, he saw that sentient beings had neither decreased nor increased. He became discouraged and shed tears. From two tears, two lotus flowers emerged. When the lotus flowers opened, Tara and Bhrikuti emerged from within, and they began to speak, saying: Who in this world is frightened by fear? I will protect them, do not fear, do not fear! After making this vow, they said to Noble Avalokiteshvara, do not be discouraged, we two will be your assistants in your work of benefiting beings and will liberate countless sentient beings.
