Holder (asks): O Vajradhara Buddha, for the sake of saving beings, empower, how to bestow the source of merit? Thus, I request you to grant this (initiation). After praying thus, from the heart of the main deity, a stream of nectar flowed, inseparable from the Karma Vajra, please generate the intention of purification for yourselves. The Karma Vajra is the attendant, purification should be done with six purifying substances, although the mantra should be recited by the master, if there are few disciples, the master usually does it himself, if it is really impossible to do so, draw all six purifying substances on one chakra, practice visualization and recite the mantra. For the disciple, one should generate the intention of circumambulating to the right and left. On your right, place a bowl filled with fire, and on the left, place clean water. The Karma Vajra holds a mixture of mustard seeds and black sesame seeds with the thumb and index finger, the right fist rotates from the right, the left fist rotates from the left, and rotates side by side from both sides. For the sake of purifying obstacles and sins, generate the intention of throwing them into fire and water. oṃ sarva pāpaṃ dahana vajra ye vajra satāsya sarva pāpaṃ dahana svāhā. Pour clean water into the two vajra fists, rotate as before, and generate the intention of throwing them into fire and water. oṃ hūṃ ḍa ḍi ta phaṭ. Pick up the unused white bowl with your thumb and index finger, rotate it as before, and generate the intention of placing it in one container. oṃ sarva saṃ śodhani svāhā. The ashes of cow dung and the sprouts of the tomb, rotate as before, and generate the intention of placing them in one container. oṃ sarva mālā aṇa viśvā dhani svāhā.
