Invite all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to appear in the form of the five families. May you all merge indivisibly with the deities of the empowerment substances. JAḤ HŪṂ VAṂ HOḤ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) Sprinkle vase water on the deities of the empowerment substances. Recite: OṂ VAJRA BHAVA ABHIṢIÑCA HŪṂ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) and empower the deities of the empowerment substances with the vase water, filling the body, purifying the defilements, and the remaining water overflowing upwards, forming the headdresses of the respective families, such as Akṣobhya. The vase water, crown, vajra, and bell, etc., arise from the melting of the five families of the empowerment substances. Please repeat the supplication to the Tathāgatas residing in the sky, the teachers, and the deities residing in the mandala. May all the Tathāgatas grant me complete empowerment. May the Tathāgatas residing in the sky abide in the samādhi of empowerment. The Eye Mother and others empower with the vase filled with the nectar of wisdom. Bodhisattvas recite auspicious verses. Auspiciousness that is complete, possessing entirely the vajra family. Subduing beings with hatred, purifying all. Named the Immovable Protector, by that name. Vairochana, constantly removing the suffering of samsara. Subduing beings with ignorance, completely purifying. By this auspiciousness, today I bestow upon you the supreme empowerment. You must practice the inverted view of self. To purify it, the method shown is to completely eliminate (the inverted view). May auspiciousness bestow upon you today the supreme empowerment. Abhiṣiñca mi sarva tathāgata adhipataye tāno paḍi rṇo me bhava. The Acharya holds the vajra and the seven victorious vases. The great vajra of empowerment, revered by all beings of the three realms, born from the secret three places of all Buddhas, is now bestowed upon you. Oṃ Āḥ Vajra Udaka Abhiṣiñca Hūṃ. If there are many people, two attendants mix the vase water and pour it into another vase, pouring it into the hands of the disciples to wash. Another attendant also accompanies with a bathing basin. The attendant, adorned with headdresses and other ornaments, holds a white umbrella and rotates it above their heads. Until it is finished, play large instruments. You descend from the mandala of bathing, wear new red clothes, and adorn yourselves with precious jewels. Singing the vajra song, circumambulate the mandala three times, making this aspiration. The attendant circumambulates the mandala three times, or makes the gesture of circumambulating the mandala. The Acharya recites these verses in a song-like tone: Great bliss is great desire, great vajra is great wealth, great wisdom is great knowledge, Vajrasattva, please accomplish me today. The vajra of all Buddhas is great, it is the giver of bliss for all accomplishments, for the sake of bestowing all empowerments, the unsurpassed vajra empowerment. Emaho! The first Buddha, possessing the true meaning of Dharmakaya, Victor! Liberation, wealth, Dharma, the Victor who grants wishes! Wisdom deities and the nature of Tushita, Victor! Protector, Great Bliss, Vajrapani, Victor! Thus, by empowering from the crown of the head with the water of the vase, the entire body is filled with the stream of wisdom, all impurities are cleansed. Having received all empowerments, from the remaining water overflowing upwards, adorn the head with Akshobhya on the crown. Thus, you have become the nature of Akshobhya, I aspire to offer. Offer with the sound up to "Shabda". Thus, this is the water empowerment of Akshobhya bestowed upon you.
