The seat of the water buffalo, lotus, and sun is a symbol of subjugation, flawless, and the union of skillful means and wisdom. The arrogant male and female being trampled underfoot is a symbol of being unrivaled in the three realms and victorious over the armies of demons. The dark blue color of the body, displaying fierceness, is a symbol of the Dharma body never changing. Displaying an unbearable, wrathful, and terrifying appearance is a symbol of subduing the unruly with fierce actions. The three faces, six arms, and four outstretched legs are symbols of the completion of the three bodies and six perfections, realization, and vanquishing of demons. The white face on the right, displaying a smile, is a symbol of the Dharma body being unstained by the faults of afflictions. The red face on the left, displaying anger, is a symbol of the enjoyment body gathering all under its power. The central dark blue face, wrathful and fierce, is a symbol of the Dharma body's own power, the emanation body taming beings. The nine eyes looking directly upwards are a symbol of possessing the three samadhis and seeing the three realms. The open mouth revealing three-pronged fangs is a symbol of exhausting the three realms, the three poisons, and samsara. The sharp and fierce fangs, blazing with light, and the excellent teeth are symbols of eradicating the roots of karma, afflictions, and habitual tendencies.
